Managers talk about needing a strong spine in a team. Conte got rid of 3/4 of his in the summer. It seemed like a bizarre thing to do at the time.
Nah, just generally grown bored with this site to be honest. Not enough of a community on the Chelsea board and the PL board is just the same old **** rehashed over and over again. Been limiting my time on here more and more lately.
What are you expecting from the PL board? Genuine question....Hiag has retreated to the Spurs board so all that stuff with him and the Pded has calmed down immensely as for when it's not about that..we all have our good and bad days depending on the fortunes of our teams and we all get pelters and the rest of the time we have discussions about everything under the sun...suggestions to improve the board would be welcome
I think most fans liked Conte at the start but his bizarre changes to the team and his ability to lose his **** is turning neutrals against him. People want to see Chelsea lose for the antics from him.
I dont really know what to expect from the PL board to be honest. I never frequented it when the Chelsea board was lively, there was no need. I only started posting on the PL board in the last 3 seasons.
3 seasons is long enough to suggest you can handle it. I guess you want a wage rise before you sign the new contract?
Not so much a question of handling it. I been using forum for 20 years now, from 606, Football Matters, Nightly Net, to this site. Its just whether its worth my time. Nothing to do with Chelsea being **** either, I stuck around (one of the only CFC fans to do so I might add), through our 10th place finish season. But the lack of a fan community on the CFC page is grating on me. All I ever do is listen to StanDman whine about Alonso or Fabregas (used to be Mikel), and its starting to do my nut in.
I understand about your fanbase being a bit shy. What do you do though when it's the nature of the fan base to do a runner?, generally speaking. I see more Chelsea activity on the PL board, yneed to get CP posting on the PL board....you need to get a recruitment process going.
Not sure its a fanbase thing, more that we had one or two giant ****s on our board that drove everyone else away. DL, Drogs, Roman's Advisor, SW6 ,all decent posters, but all decided to leave because of the actions of one or two cockwombles
@Bodinki to be honest, i just treat this whole site as a banterfest. Theres a bit of discussion on the chelsea board but to be honest theres only so much footie discussion to be had on a week to week basis aside from the performances. Theres only so much you can slate certain players who you know aren't good enough/fit for the system/frustrate the hell out of you. Its why i'm on the prem board most of the time for the ****s and giggles and generally @Commachio does come out with a gem amongst the ****. If i find something particularly boring i just ignore it and carry on. Something to do when i'm bored or have some spare time and cant be bothered to do anything else
Thats pretty much how I am treating it to be honest. I aint gonna do no gay flounce off thread or anything like some attention seeking ladies on here, and I am not gonna say I am leaving etc. I will just log in when I feel like it, if I dont feel like it for a long time, I may not log in for a long time.....whatever. But that has been the reason for the decrease in my activity on this site to be honest.
