From the Clubs perspevtive almost certainly yes.
For me i'm in 2 minds whilst i understand the business imperative of being in CL i really want to at least have a good go at the cups .Even now there is nothing like the feeling that you might be lifting a pot in 90 mins time.
Feel Klopp regrets the EL , LC finals leading to the weakening of our league position due to the lack of squad depth & is reluctant for that to happen again .

 

The CL isn't just a cup, and I don't mean the money. With a cup 1 off day or #bentasfuck ref and the whole thing is finished, and on the other hand a lucky draw and you can make the finals without playing anyone. The CL level is far higher, more consistent, and with more guaranteed games so it can be used to judge #progress by ourselves and by potential signings.

#summary even if you don't lift the CL doing well in it has #legit value
