Just back. Missed the first goal and Bolton had a man sent off too by. The time I got there. First goal was a good goal apparently. Fergus is a left midfield player, decent I have to say. Stretched them all over the park Batty again running it. Left back for us Fleming had a good game. Superb second goal. One two and Annan hit a screamer from the left hand side of the bo just outside the area. Good work from olley for the third, got into the box and pulled it back. For Powell to score. Powell played well, built like Dickos younger brother but he's white. Hamilton is coming on. Very quick. We had a few good chances and their keeper made some good saves. Good result all round. Nige was there too.
Thanks Chazz for the insight to the game, I actually miss watching the U23's more than the first team. Sad days isn't it. P.S. Though next season, I suspect I will be watching the majority of them in the first team playing in league one.
How old are olley and clackstone now? Times running out for them if they don't kick on now. I think they're the oldest. Also ferriby pitch was poor. Ball was bobbing about a lot. Hamilton missed a sitter at the end, skied it after it sat up in the box.
Division one I would say yes, whether he is ready for Championship maybe too early IMO. I can see Batty/Curry/Olley/Hamilton out of who played last night stepping up if we get relegated, Batty possibly even if we stay up.
Good footballer but not sure he will. Olley is probably better but they haven't got that little extra imho Batty is the one with the best chance I think.
