He's done what he was supposed to, and improve our limited-overs form (hope I haven't stated that too soon!). Unfortunately, it's been at the expense of our Test team. I would like to see separate coaches for each when Bayliss steps down, and jerzeypie agrees with me. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/42617727
Yes it does seems our test teams has struggled at the expense of the improved form in the shorter formats. Ofcourse in 2019 are both the World Cup ana Ashes in England !!
Complications from heatstroke apparently. Utterly tragic. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/42633548
Blimey - while Australia fail yet again to England in the ODI series, Scotland look like winning a match - with an Aberdonian actually scoring a century. Against United Arab Emirates
A Brit who isn't Andy Murray into the Australian Open semi finals! Is Kyle Edmund's run a one off or maybe the start of a bright future? No doubt come Wimbledon the poor lad will be hyped up so much he will probably crumble under the pressure..
England set Australia a target of 197 in the fourth ODI. I'm not sure it's a competitive score, but after being 8 for 5, they must be slightly relieved.
2003 World Cup - Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh. After only five balls of the first over, Bangladesh had lost 4 wickets for 5 runs. And only last year, England were 6-20 after 4.6 overs at Lords against South Africa.
I love Wales boyo. Also, after working for a Scottish boss who went to Japan for the World Cup when Scotland were not in it simply to attend the England matches and cheer for their opposition I have made it a principle to return the compliment and always support anyone against Scotland in every sport.
2 great games for different reasons! A cracking performance by Wales and a stunning finish by Ireland .
