Champion Hurdle? For a horse they know is a chaser and keep saying everything this year is a lovely bonus? From ownership that won’t consider Apples Jade in anything but the Mares Race? There’s more chance of me running in the Champion Hurdle with Stick on my back chaps.
O'Leary seems adamant he's going chasing next year stick. I'd chuck him in the Champion Hurdle, it will be a small field and a steadyish pace, won't have the rough and tumble of a supreme or Ballymore. If everything he does over hurdles is a bonus, why not go for a big bonus?
DDG - poor bugger. Totally taken off his heels mid race. Still beat all those 2 milers into second and now is rewarded with facing Samcro in the Ballymore.
Superb leap from Beyond The Clouds at the last to seal the race. He could be a player in the Supreme on good spring ground.
And Hendo’s top gun 2 miler beaten no excuses in Muss. Mick Fitz offering nothing on ATR post Samcro race. It’s like National Hunt analysis for Dummies
Samcro about 8 seconds slower than Supasundae yesterday but I think the ground is a touch slower today and they dawdled around. What would be interesting would be the sectionals for the last 3 races in each race.
BetReebs are going 25-1 against Bob winning the Champion Hurdle with Stick doing the steering, No NRNB though - BetReebs are cautious!
The Supreme looks abysmal. Getabird probably a better middle distance horse. The English contingent look poor. Samcro would win that race. Won't run in it hopefully but he'd win
There is no way Samcro and Getabird will take each other on, only two top novices in Ireland this season, as I say, If The Cap Fits looks the only conceivable danger to Getabird in the Supreme, and Samcro should win the Ballymore, Next Destination and On The Blind Side look decent but nothing special.
