I don't think that level of performance will be allowed to continue, Lee summed up my feelings perfectly in his after match interview , he said they were "flicky" , were posing and were not doing the basics . It looked like Bolton wanted it more than we did , & he needs to go back to the drawing board.
I was impressed with his honesty and his determination to sort it out. I have to admit I like him and his approach a lot , I'm beginning to see why SL stuck with him last year.

That was a totally inept, predictable, pedestrian and impotent performance.

The club should refund all travelling supporters who had to endure that **** for their tickets, time, and travelling costs.

    Top 6 ? We're having a laugh ?

Bolton will probably go down, and on that performance we deserve to as well.

think in the heat of the moment that's understandable, but i think a tad OTT , we had a off night poor performance, but at least LJ didn't paper over it, hit the nail on the head and said what we all thought, so bodes well to get it sorted!

If it was a representative performance of our season ide agree, but it wasn't , some of our performances this season have been the best I've seen since I've been watching them .

I do understand your frustration though as we know how good this team can be, I also think we need to sort it out pdq if we want to stay in contention.

For me the turning point was not "running down the clock" when 1 up against Wolves. We seem to have forgotten what we learned from last season. It's great being free flowing and attacking , but there are times when you have to be a bit cynical , comit fouls further up the pitch etc . Friday was the perfect example of this , JB couldn't foul Ameobi because he was already on a yellow, last thing we need is any more suspensions , so we should not have had him in that position of covering their potential break from our corner , Ameobi should have been stopped before he got anywhere near our goal , cynical maybe , but what we were doing earlier in the season.

One of our "problems" is Aden GETS UP for corners as do a couple other defenders and that leaves us exposed we should always have at least 2 on the halfway line just in case! not hindsight at a draw with 3 pts to go at we do take it on! maybe we should think about it first! the captain should tell x, y and or z to stay back..etc

Sadly think the playoffs are going to be a pipe dream.10th I reckon come the end.
Really thought we were capable of doing it pre 2018,those cup games really put the cat amongst the pigeons.
3 from 15 is where we lost it.

    I don't think it is.
For as well as we played and competed against Man U/Man City (and other Prem teams) we were the total opposite against Bolton.
The players need to raise their game and dig deep against struggling sides to ensure we get 3 points, and to be honest, other than the goal which I think Joe has to take the majority of the blame for, although we did back off when Ameoi ran at us, and Steele was also too far out from his goal in my humble opinion, they never bothered us.
I knew it would likely end badly when we started playing hoofball in the first half and we never carried a goal threat. I actually thought we were best when Engvall came on. Diedhough looks like Pele at times with his touch but at other times he looks like he's never played the game at all.
I know he's coming back from injury but he's either not physically or mentally ready, as if he is then I dont think he'll make a big impression at this level in terms of goal scoring.
This needs fixing and quick otherwise the others will pull away and we'll never stand a chance of catching them.

We are still on with a shout, but we need to get back a win at all costs mentality quickly

Over dramatising it mate, a lose and the dream is not over....the season has a long way to go and anything can happen, it's what makes the championship great!
I along with every other City fan wants to play in the Premiership against some of the best teams in the world, but if we don't I will still see this season to be a good one for us.......It's so nice not to be in a relegation fight!!

With the position in the league and the style of football we've been playing.......Granted some of the games of late have been disappointing, Bolton being one of them!
