    Been a fan since a little kid, but basically since the championship season I've taken it a lot more seriously.

    I bought my first season ticket that year.

    Great time to start really getting into it IMO. I would have hated if i became a serious Toon fan a season before we got relegated or there abouts.

    I thought i was going to begin my Toon years witnessing a new era, but alas, it was all flushed down the toilet.

    I thought Carroll was gonna be our hero, Hughton was gonna be the next Bobby Robson, and the team was really going to push forward.

    :S

    Ah well. Even if i tried i couldn't leave now, i can never stop supporting Newcastle. It's in my veins now. I'm addicted.

    How come you hate Sunderland so much for cheering at SoS when we got relegated then!? haha

    But, tbh Tash. Youve missed sooooooooooooooo many amazing times haha.

    I can remember one evening when I was 13(?) we played Sporting Lisbon. And I got so ****ing annoyed. I fell off my bunkbed, and knocked our electricity off in the house haha.

    **** that makes me feel old. I was in Opera bar in The Gate watching the away leg when Dyer put us in front only for them to come back and spank us 4-1. That ****ing hurt.
