Eire a long term contract means a higher price in transfer fees. Look what happened to WBA with Ty Roberts. Yes we cant stop players getting their heads turned but we can make sure we get a good price

Eire look at what happened to Everton last Summer when Chelsea came calling with a £35m offer. Everton finally gave permission for the player to go meet them who then changed his mind. He had 6 months lwft on his contract a couple of weeks ago so went to Chelsea for £15m got himself a big chunk of that £20m Chelsea saved, money that should have gone to Everton. Mayor of Liverpool trying to prosecute Chelsea to get that money for Everton, not a chance. Clubs need players signed up

Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
Tomorrows game will be a test of how resilient we are in face of some crunching tackles because Warnock will have them fired up at least one of themis missing having got sent off against Man City
They have got Madine who is really up for a fight having served a prison sentence for fighting
They have also brought in Jamie Ward and 3 others so they fancy there chances of at least a top 6 finish
Carpi say they have a gentlemans agreement that we will get first option on their striker in June
Are we pleased with this window to me its one for the future slowly slowly and all that

To paraphrase: Gentleman’s Agreements aren’t worth the paper they’re signed on

We had a gentleman’s agreement to get Bartley for 2 million.

    There’s either a contract or there isn’t.

Though can’t say I’m bothered on this one... the ‘new drogba’ doesn’t really get the juices flowing for me.

Exactly. This gentleman’s agreement is just more pr bollocks and it’s wearing very thin.
Rad is abusing the trust the happy clappies have placed in him.
When it comes crashing down, and it will, things will get very ugly very quickly.
The tipping point isn’t too far off now.

Roberts won't be featuring this weekend, he will train with the squad with a view to playing some part against Sheff next week.

That has really made my blood boil.

Surprise surprise he has a little knock and won't be available...exactly the same as Forshaw and Le Bock who mysteriously didn't play straight away after they signed.

I'm all for not throwing the young lad in at the deep end but FFS we need a striker on the bench who can actually come on and maybe effect the game for once.

Finally figured it out we are actually scouting players in A&E departments up and down the land. This can be the only reason every new signing we make has a knock or a strain. You couldn't make this **** up

Oh and while I remember...Forshaw was signed before we played Millwall and could have come off the bench to secure 3 points if some numpty had had the gumption to bloody select him.

    Slight knock my arse.

Must admit jammy TC is really getting on my nerves with his ultra cautious negative tactics. Part of me hopes we get a few tonkings over the next few matches just to force radrizannis hand. He needs to be gone ready for the summer season back in Greece managing the Thomas cook reps team.

It would be interesting to find out Radrizzani's reasons for appointing TC. Was he a safe option or genuine promotion material?
