Riyad Mahrez spits out his dummy big time at Leicester City.
Refused to play last night, now does not turn up for training. Supposedly he is "depressed" and in an emotionally fragile state.

His emotional state seems pretty normal to me - normal that is for a furious three year old in a supermarket who is told he can't have an ice lolly.

Not in the right frame of mind to play football, think I'll use that where I work, wonder if I'll still get paid

Reading recently about the latest progress Juan Mata has made with his charity. He wanted Premiership footballers to donate 1% of their wages to alleviate poverty. Started last summer, 5 or 6 have signed up to it, none of the top earners.

Greed knows no bounds. And it’s the average joe that suffers.

And the more you've got the greedier you get. The South-east is not only the richest part of the UK, it's also the meanest at giving to charity.

The South East gives to charity every week.

    It’s taxes heavily subsidise Scotland.

Not all analysts agree, especially with the extra pension demands in the SE due to longer life expectancy, but one thing is for sure; Northern Ireland is by far the most heavily subsidised.Still, we don't mind, do we, as long as it keeps Arlene Foster happy?

The analyists that count matter. The gulf in GDP will be even wider after 2048, when Scotland will be dependant on exporting Iron Bru.

It could be argued hat over the years Scottish oil has subsidised the rest of the country (rather than sensibly investing like Norway did). Or is it a case that what's theirs is ours & what's ours is our own.

Admittedly it is becoming increasingly difficult to disagree in a civilised manner these days. I've been following politics for too long, and the standard of debate has never been lower.

We're all waiting for the day when we hear RD has finally f**ked off.

Nothing really seems to matter very much now until that happens.
Oxford should be a comfortable win, but the team will be somewhat different and 14 days without a competitive game might have an effect.
I'm looking forward to going to the Valley a bit more nowadays, in the knowledge that a takeover is now very near.
