We had too many draws especially at home. I pray that we do not have any cause to look back to our games against Arsenal away,Everton at home and West Brom at home and many others. I believe Jurgen Klopp is doing a good job and will eventually get it right.

Definitely the draws. Only Man City have lost fewer than us

 

Them losing means it's now in our own hands

 

But we wouldn't have had second place in our own hands with a draw, we'd have still needed Man Utd to slip up against someone else.

 

Which I’m sure they will do.

A draw would have meant we increased the gap between us and Spurs, and means we’re close to United.

Perhaps but my logic was simple.

It was either 2 points behind us, 3 or 5 at 1000pm last night. We were 4th, Chelsea had not collapsed then and any logic (with out the obvious anti mancs feelings) would have meant we should prefer the Spurs defeat. Of course it will implications for the rest of the season too. As a win for us would have put them 8 points behind us.

As we are now in a different situation with the four rivals only separated by 5 points, a different logic applies. Chelsea and MU look more vulnerable but with winnable matches they could regain 2nd and 3rd and if we drop points we’ll slide to 4th or even out of top 4.

MU bias aside I cannot see how anyone could see the rise of Spurs as a good thing.

surely that should be 2,4 or 5.

I went for the draw as 2 rivals both drop 2 pts so 1 pt more than a rival lose.

Why is this argument rumbling on?
What happened had sod all to do with the wishes of anyone on here, so why all the finger-pointing?
Only a couple of people wanted the Spuds to win - the rest of us just have to accept that it happened and get on with things.

 

Since 'Arry left Tottenham, they have not won at Anfield. I do not think that are due one, not on Sunday.
