It seems Dawson went to Nottingham with the owners blessing, but they changed their minds when it kicked off online (possibly also at the event)... Peter Blackburn @petermblackburn Hull owners pulled the plug after the negative reaction of their fans. But my understanding is a deal is already in place to bring him to the club in the summer, and should go through. Good news if it comes off. #nffc
If that's true, Daws has every ****ing right to be angry.......but when the **** have they ever cared about the negative reaction from us lot!?
My best times , memories of supporting city are from the 70s When you could stand with your group of mates that you would knock about with all week and look forward to the next game. But I also LOVED 2010/2011 till 2016/2017 because I started to take my niece's to games ( they still go ) I have only been to 2 away games this season but hope to do more. I jumped ship this season for various boring reasons and maybe I am a traitor but I now follow Scarborough Athletic It's quite like I have gone back to the 70s Loving it . .......... Will always love Hull City Expected the ALLAMS to spend F ALL I am certain it means they aim to pocket next season's parachute money and F OFF They hate the city of Hull hence the refusal to use HULL CITY AFC AND they don't give a F about fans hence no concessions ALLAMS OUT
Not sure what to make of the MacDonald comments, not sure if it's worse signing a player who is not fit or one that cannot get into the frigging Barnsley team
Na im sorry but for once I agree with the Allams decision to pull the plug on the deal. It should not have even been agreed in the first place. As average as Dawson has been this season, removing your captain and the most respected player in the club when your in real danger of being relegated just can not happen. Yes im sure Dawson would have loved to sign a 2 and a half year deal with Forrest, great deal for him at his age but at the end of the day he still has a contract with us and he's our player. We have every right to turn the deal down and keep him here to help us. There's nothing stopping him leaving in the summer and doing what he wants.
It doesn't say that at all. Someone called Peter Blackburn is assuming that and you've swallowed it as truth. I heard that when the question was asked of Dawson from Forest the answer was a firm no from our chairman. But that cannot be true can it ?
Yeah, I fully agree with the decision to not let him go, itd have been suicidal, what i'm saying is that if Daws was given blessing to leave by the Allams, then they went back on their word, he's got every right to be ****ed off
Peter Blackburn isn't some random bloke on Twitter, he's a football journalist who reports on Forest. And what was he doing at the Nottingham training ground yesterday, rather than being at the Hull City Tigers Hall Of Fame sham event as planned?
We have 2 players in and none out - so it isn't all that bad However - the owners have failed to make a public show of support to Adkins - there was no war chest offered and another case of 'get by on crumbs if you can' The hall of fame is a distraction and one that embarassingly for 'the club' has been overshadowed by Dawson's walkabout
I have a feeling that the only reason the plug was pulled on the MD deal was that Ehab didn't want to look like the fool we all know him to be, in having to announce this morning, that we are looking for a new manager, just have a feeling that this was all done behind Adkins back by Ehab and our invisible head of recruitment and although i'm still undecided about Adkins, i think he(Adkins), may have stood his ground on this and inform Ehab "if he goes ,so do i" to say it was the fans reaction, is really taking the piss (Ehab doesn't give two ****s about city fans) he's proved that time and again in the past.
I'd love to be a fly on the wall at City training ground today, what with Dawson and Grosicky.......#awkward. Where is our training ground reporter, BlackandamberGambler, when you need him?
