There's nothing more precious than seeing the Portuguese David Brent trying to avoid making eye contact with Poch after the hiding his team took...

Blinding result, Tripps superb (and shuts the doubters up yet again :) ), Davies excellent, Dembele much better, Dier snuffed pretty much everything out in the middle, Jan and Dave solid, Hugo brilliant on the rare moments he was called upon, Dele an absolute nuisance for them the whole game and Eriksen just ran the show.

Lovely ****ing jubly. Lucas must be buzzing to get going! Him and Son causing havoc down the wings will be a nightmare for the opposition.

    Well done, boys!

    Oh...

  8. Early days for that DH..... <laugh>
He was excellent last 80 minutes and full credit where it’s due, although I cannot remember a game when there was so little pressure applied down our flanks.
If he can be that consistent next 3 or 4 games I’ll buy in 100% :emoticon-0148-yes:

Let's hope we can do the same, or better at Klanfield.

Stolen from elsewhere, but worth repeating...

Imagine getting paid £300k a week to spend 90 minutes in Kieran Trippier's pocket?

He gets way too much stick though mate for someone that really doesn't do much wrong. It's as if because he doesn't get an assist every game due to the fact he's a great crosser that it means he's been poor. There's going to be games where teams are smart enough to ensure he doesn't have space to cross as he's so deadly - as he proved today by causing Jones to commit the own goal - but it's also down to his team mates in front to open up space for him.
Defensively his game has been so much better this season and yet so many times people act nervous when we play the big teams as if he's going to let us down.
I'm not for one minute saying he's the best thing since sliced bread and I even appreciate that once Aurier is fully settled that he'll likely be first choice, plus not forgetting the emergence of KWP, but I just feel Tripps gets a rough ride from some of our fans and I don't really like it.

I thought that tonight was a great performance from Spurs, one of the best of the season, despite Mariner being very poor for us. We could and should have scored a few more such was our dominance, we should have had a nailed on penalty (but we don`t get them) and first half especially Mariner was very pro United, awarding them several bitty free kicks for their players` diving and falling over.

All in all it was men against boys tonight, a fully deserved 3 points and we`ll need the same again at Klanfield on Sunday. Will we ever get another penalty!

Wow, what a performance that was. Scintilating start and then we just bossed the whole game. 2-0 Flattered them, if Kane had his shooting boots on and the ref didnt bottle that penalty decision we would have won by 4.
Kane a masterclass in CF play. Dembele beasted Pogba, Trippier superb down the vast spaces down the right, Sanchez and Vertonghen imperious and finally Eriksen was the orchestra of this Spurs symphony., he was beautiful to watch.

We hunted United down all over the park. 3 massive points and we should be aiming for 2nd not 4th.
