Leicester City v Swansea City Barclays Premier League Date - Saturday 3 February 2018 Kick Off - 15:00 Venue - King Power Stadium, Leicester Following their deserved 3–1 victory over Arsenal on Tuesday evening, Swansea moved out of the Premier League relegation zone for the first time since November, and in the process earned back-to-back wins for the first time this season. Next up for Carlos Carvalhal's resurgent Swansea squad is a visit to recent Champions, Leicester City - a venue where the Swans have never won a single point in the PL. The Foxes currently sit in 7th place with 34 points from their 24 games. Since their first meeting in December 1914, the Swans have played Leicester on 38 occasions, winning 11, losing 19 and drawing 8. In the corresponding fixture last season, Leicester ran out 2-1 winners. Jamie Vardy scored the first goal to help then champions Leicester win. The England striker fired in off the post from Danny Drinkwater's ball before Wes Morgan volleyed in from a right-wing corner after the break. Leicester's Riyad Mahrez had a penalty saved by Lukasz Fabianski, who also blocked Shinji Okazaki's follow-up. Swansea pulled one back when Leroy Fer headed in from Modou Barrow's cross. Turning to Saturday, my heart says that the Swans will pick up their first ever point in the PL at the King Power Stadium, earning a 1-1 draw.
I never fancy us against Leicester for some unknown reason. I can see us playing the same line up as last night and not giving them any space to break and run into. I would take a draw right now so hoping for a 1-1
I fancy a win ..1 - 2.....or 1 - 3..The lads are working their socks off for Carlos and the confidence is off the scale atm......It will take a good team to beat us and i dont see Leicester as a good team this season.and very beatable..
Tend to agree. this is the real test, not how we do against the big clubs but we play and lift ourselves against smaller clubs. Will take a point now. unfortunately can only see a Leicester win.
Leicester cold be very difficult because, unlike arrogant Liverpool & Arsenal, they won't under-estimate us.
The good news is their best player has thrown a hissy fit, missed training today and is almost certain not to play on Saturday
Be happy with a draw, the Foxes have always been a bit of a bogey team for us, even in the Championship..................
Our form is the best out of the bottom and most of the top half teams so i fancy our chances against anyone atm......They will be fearing us more than we will fear them ....So i'm going for a win.....
I think this will be tough. Would take a draw now as long as we perform to our best, if we keep it up we will be safe.
