Sir Neil still has plenty of brownie points with me. What other half decent, successful manager would have put up with all the bollocks going on upstairs whilst he was desperately trying to shape and inspire a squad for the step up to the PL? Lippi? Jol? Allardice? Hughton? O'Neil? Warnock has done us proud throughout his tenure at QPR. Having said that, no manager is above reproach, especially not one who has to provide for and otherwise placate, not just their employer(s) and team but thousands of us fans (all with differing views and opinions) as well. Thankless task often as not but one where close scrutiny comes as part of the job. All decent managers (football or otherwise) expect criticism and we on here are football fans discussing all the whys and wherefores of our chosen football club with our fellow supporters. I expect to express a view on this that and watch as others thrash it out, adding to the debate as it progresses. If we can't express our praise or disappointment, what are we here for? Personally I love Neil Warnock as a big hitter for his club. Few better imo. If you want to take issue with that, I'm always ready, bring it on!!
What is it with some QPR fans. NW drags us from Championship relegation certs to the PL. We get rid of Flav and Bernie, TF and AB cut prices and start a new dawn, yet peeps have still got to whinge! For God's (if you go that way) sake (or the FSM's, my choice), get over yourselves and get back to supporting our beloved R's instead of using the default position of slagging them off! Who give's a sh#t about last night, it showed that Cook and Rowlands are done and dusted and that our "fringe players" ain't up to it! Get real and move on!!
Are we seeing a new side to NW's management of Adel? Now that he feel he can attract other quality players like Barton he might not indulge Adel in the same way as before. Thoughts?
Joey Barton is apparently the ultimate professional when it comes to the training ground. By all accounts he can't get enough, first to arrive, last to leave and all that, and demands & expects the same from his team mates. A marriage made in heaven.... or tears and tantrums in hell before Christmas?
Adels petulance will get him into bother sooner or later - be it on the training ground or in front of 65000 at Old Trafford when the team is losing and he isn't getting the ball. The sooner he grows up and starts playing for the team and not just for himself, the sooner he will mature into the great player he promises to be - lets just hope he's still in the hoops when that day comes!
