It’s because Joselu is his love child. He needs him to score unless he has failed. This is clear. All of Joselu goals have been trash scrappy goals. There has not been one class finish which makes him stand out as a penalty taker. Merino maybe would be our best technical pkayer. I can see this game getting away from us and th m scoring a late goal. Our lack of quality up top fails us week in and week out. Robbing a living. Top scorer mid season with 4 goals taking a penalty. You couldn’t write it.

Joselu has hopefully played his last game. Never seen a worse starting striker at SJP in the PL era. Penalty takers should have been Kenedy, Perez, Merino, Dummett (power), Atsu before you even think about ****ing Toss-elu.
If Joselu is our first choice for taking pens over and above everyone else that was on that pitch, and I include Darlow in that statement then **** me we’re doomed! Merino, Perez or Kenedy...anybody but ****ing him! I’d be ****ing fizzing if I were Rafa!!!
