Our problem has been the defensive areas, so getting an old head in there should help to bring the younger ones on and give us some leadership at the back.
The player will want to start fresh somewhere and rebuild his career keeping his head down and out of trouble. He has an abundant of talent and would be brilliant for us. Would score more than Nichols put it that way. I would gamble on him. If Boro wants him gone asap we could get a bargain too. He is the sort of player which could be the difference from a top half finish to a top 6 finish. Big gamble of course as got a lot of baggage but under DC, he could come great. Non league players seems to thrive under DC.

Good thing about this, he don't have to sign by 11pm tonight. He can sign whenever as free agents can sign for clubs outside the window. So don't get too upset if he hasn't signed by 11pm. But the bad thing about this, its now out in the open that he is available as a free agent. So another club could approach him and take him!
