I worked this out after Hill game and we’d be 13th at the time.

We’d have about 7 points extra I think it worked out.

There you go then, we'll be aight.

    Honest.

Seriously though that's not bad and I think if anything we'll get better under Coleman. We need at least one positive voice on here.

I’ve every faith in Coleman mate, I genuinely have.

Even if we drop I think he’d stay and he’d get us going forward again. Just a hell of a long way back from that, if we could even sustain the club financially.

The saving grace are the numerous awful teams around us, but we’ve just been comfortably beaten by the worst.

I also think he'd stay with us if we went down, if he's got the balls to take the job he's got the balls to stick it out.

Some were, I thought we'd struggle, but I did think it would scare Short into acting this window and we'd finnish the season strong with a mid table. I can't believe he's just ****ed his entire investment away. Administration is a very real possibility. Our future is at risk with Short's investment.

Bad result, we are once again too weak in the defensive third, in midfield, and tonight in central defensive positions, Kone is gash in the air and lacks JoS's nouse, we need some height in there, or simply win the second ball if we cant win the first, The looked dangerous every time their keeper got the ball (Benno). The point has been made that even so we are only three points from safety and this is what we have to cling too. we got after them after the substitutions and this is another positive. Also the front two had no chance tonight, trying to win high balls against towering defenders, they will learn that we must play along the floor against these type of players, I am sure we will address these problems and scramble to safety, by the skin of our pants. <ok>

Kone is no communicator - he cannot lead a line/organise. He needs others to do that for him.

I totally agree, its not his fault, but tonight showed his limitations. He is now almost surplus to requirements and this in a side that struggles to defend any balls into the box. Its scary, but needs to be addressed somehow. We have really missed Gibson in there, his injury has cost us.

It was a disappointing result tonight, but at the moment it is what it is. I think that we will have enough in the tank to scrape 4th bottom. It doesn't matter what league we are in...it could be the conference and our club's mentality will always be to reach/try to achieve that 4th bottom spot. The logic of driving debt down at all costs, to me, is suicidal. Like in life the best way to do things is with a balanced approach. One must presume that the hierachy's mindset last season was to get relegated, financially restructure, and get into a place where we could bounce quickly back into the Premier League. Well that plan has gone t*ts up. Maybe Short is Blackadder in disguise? He has a cunning plan for Baldrick (Bain), but I just think that they must both sit a room with pencils up their noses and go "wobble wobble" to each other....

I bumped into them last week in Hartlepool. They told me that they were off to buy some exploding trousers!

I feel like you gutted and ashamed but we are not cut adrift yet. There's too many of these false dawns when we hope we are on a roll and then we come up against a physical team, we wilt and are humiliated. I had an awful thought this may happen but my heart led the way with my win prediction.
We need to shore up with physically imposing players in the middle to protect our defence and need JOS in to organise.
Ipswich next could be winnable but we need JOS playing from the start and wantaway Kone nowhere near the team sheet - ever for me.

We need a couple of imposing mid-field players who can actually make a difference in there, and protect the weaker elements through this tough season, but I cant see it happening, we are in for a nail biter. Maybe try Kone in there as a stop gap measure, when JoS gets back, even Billy Jones, Are we that desperate, maybe not.

LOL - we are not desperate enough for Jones in midfield but may be that pace of KLL and his runs will help take pressure off defence. We need championship style players as we need to quickly start playing championship style football or we'll be playing div 1.
Definitely need JOS to calm things at the back and guide JCS.
