Apparently Studge has severed a tendon in his finger signing the loan deal and is out until further notice
You would need a big cabinet to store them In but imagine your grandkids face when you took them to see it, oh yeah you only need a phone to show a bank balance
Of course it is! How many premier league or championship players can you name with 9 fingers or less? I rest my case.
That particular statistical anomaly has been well documented on this forum. Click here: #doingalukaku
Shame about Sturridge. If he’d stayed fit and not lost that bit of pace that made him brilliant in that year and half, he’d still be in the first team. Most goals in first 50 games or something wasn’t it? Can’t say he wasn’t a brilliant striker who knew how to find the back of the net. Hope he can stay injury free and get devent run of games at wba and then will wish him well when we sell him in summer for 10-15m (last year of contract)
Not whinging. Whilst we have 3 very good forward players, after that comes a backup who's just come back from virtually 2 years of injury but we all know is pretty limited anyway and a kid who has awful touch but is good in the air - if only we played with wingers who got wide and crossed it early. Better get your beads and incense ready to pray to the medical gods. Injury, fatigue or suspensions could all come into play and what's left could be pretty bang average. The thought of Ings and Solanke up top banging in goals for fun whilst we orgasm over through balls from Milner and Hendo isn't even a reality on footie manager after editing their data! So whilst we're not ****ed (I would say our midfield is after Coutinho's departure though) up top right now, our replacements (and rotation/subs/backup are important in a season) are not going to make an impact. Sturridge was always there as someone of quality who will put the ball away if the ball comes to him in the box. You'd put your house on him finishing a scrappy goal in the dying minutes. Would you say the same for Ings or Solanke?
Spurs £25m deal for Lucas shows there are still good deals to be done in the transfer market. I'd much rather spend £25m on him and shell out for a CM rather than pay £90m for Lemar.
Apparently the Greens are interested in borrowing one of your lads. Lloyd-Jones is the one who you pinched from us when he was just older than an embrio a few years back. So the story goes Mr Klopp isn't interested in loaning him out. We could do with all the help we can get so could somebody have a word in his shell like lugg and point out the merits for us. Much obliged.............
