Comes from years of 'trading' football cards and cigarette cards at school. Used to get the odd football annual shoved in my stockings at Christmas as well (didn't make my legs look very sexy, no change there then) and all you got then was like you do today .... Division 1 focus (Premier League in new money) and if you were lucky a picture of Waggy or Chillo. Wouldn't have guessed that two in that picture would eventually be part of City's history.
Two things always makes me laugh in that video clip. How Paul Reaney (2) reacts 30 seconds in. 'Ref, ref, ref, look there's two men fighting again. Look Look.' Instead of bounding across the pitch and joining in with the melee. And how Frannie Lee's impression of a windmill has the much taller Norman Hunter rapidly back pedalling. EDIT : superb stuff by the way

Used to go in a hotel bar after work in late 60s and Syd Owen, Les Cocker and other coaching staff were sometimes in there. Wasn't bothered myself but was impressed with how generous they were with their time discussing games with a Leeds supporting colleague and others. Gave some good insights.
So would Giles, one of the best passers of a ball I have seen, and Paul Madeley who was one of the most elegant. Never liked them, always stood with away fans when I went to games when I worked there but some of the football they played was excellent. Wouldn't have minded seeing similar at the KC at the time.
That was caused by Mackay being incensed by an over the top challenge by Bremner as he had just made a return after suffering a second broken leg. Mackay wasn't as tall as you might have thought when you saw him live. Jimmy Greaves always used to say no one was frightened of him but they were terrified of Mackay despite him being an inch shorter in height.
