An absolute disgrace of a performance at Anfield. We made WBA look like Barcelona. Our attack was powderpuff and midfield was just embarrassing. To lose to WBA and Swansea is just ridiculous. Think about it. Two teams who are fighting relegation and have bigger fish to fry. We have £140m in the bank. Our manager thinks we can manage until the end of the season without new buys. He should really grow a pair. Does he really believe this or is he afraid of upsetting FSG? We can lose the talent of Coutinho without being affected? Come on. Please go out and spend the money !!!
The VAR was just pathetic. Even though we benefited from it I really hope it doesn't continue if that is what it's going to do to a game. The flow of what could have been a rollicking good cup tie was just completely destroyed in the first half. If this is the future I might take up watching cricket - it's over quicker.
We got outplayed by WBA, at home, playing the kind of football we would deride as "WBA hoofball". Shameful
It needs to be sorted so everything happens more quickly. I thought the ref was getting direction from an official for 60 seconds or so, then he makes the sign that he is going to look at the screen ...........
