Gunnevera 25/1 tonight I thought was an outstanding bet, ive wasted 300 odds today without truly fancing one or thinking one was a great bet
That just about sums up my week, thought he had just done enough but no. Yes have had 3 other winners to go with it including DEFINATELY RED
also managed to back a ghost horse, Ladbrokes NRNB must have some interesting small print please log in to view this image
Little last second punt Shyron 6/1 each way 7.45 Kempton Luke in the plate is a massive upgrade on LTO. Won off this and higher marks in years gone by. Very fair chance to nick this race.
Anyone watching the Liverpool v WBA game? Think VAR has been on longer than the first half Fav in the last for me.
Long old day today starting with gallops at FOB's and then a seven race card at Cheltenham (when was the going last heavy there). One horse in particular really impressed me on the gallops this morning but not one that you would think. It wasnt Jennys Surprise although she is in fine nick. Three spins up the hill and a good roll in her box after to show her wellbeing. Didnt the girls do well today...Apples, Bryony and Lizzie. Hats off to our old forum friend Nass who gave us Agrapart. The horse that really caught my eye at the track was something of a surprise too. I dont know if anyone has mentioned this but that run by THE LAST SAMURAI today was a cracking Grand National warm up. Last but not least I feel compelled to mention the two young Harrys in the last race who really stole a cheap lead on the more experienced jockeys and finished first and third. Harry Reed on Remiluc was outstanding. Stealing a march at the tapes, knowing when to back out of a duel up front, an excellent sit two out and great finish. The lad should be followed while he has his claim.
Found enough to keep the chin above water. We were out in Painswick last night but had to be home this evening.
It's hard work, gonna need to get in training for the festival I can't do four days anymore. Had remulac and our merlin in comb/ f/cast, counting the money two out
Remiluc was my danger...not a penny on. Cannot be regretful though as all day long OUR MERLIN was my banker.
