Thank you for your kind words both here and in the email. I'm trying to stay positive but in reality I will be glad when it's all over and I know what I'm dealing with. Thank you to all horns for your kindness and support
A very kind and appropriate message Leonardo which many of us echo on here. May I just say to you that I have missed your input on these boards as you added so much to them and was very sorry that you had to distance yourself from them. Best wishes.
Agreed, Just sorry your attempt to broaden opinions did not turn out better Leo, What about another go, we certainly need it?
OK you lovely people, I'm off to bed! Night all Night H I have to wait for the results for everything, they'll send me an appointment in due course!
... and you Today the specialist for my foot... may need a big toe joint replacement.....I hope not as I understand can take around three months to heal
Morning all. A beautiful Spring like morning at last. Need to get some plumbing bits today which is the easy part. Installing them comes into the area of pet hates. Plumbing and me seem to have a mutual dislike for each other. Hope all goes well today Yorkie. Could be a case of gout with all that red wine you need to keep a check on.
Fingers crossed Yorkie. Rained here heavily last night, so strange for Jan. Roll on Friday as Mrs is away and will be out and about all weekend with the reins off!!
I went to see an orthopaedic surgeon this evening about the pain I've been having in my right knee. Apparently, I do have fluid on that knee, but I require a scan to determine why.
We're all falling apart by the sounds... I am due to have an op at sometime on an arthritic joint. 50/50 success rate but worth the gamble. If you've ever wondered why I post regularly at stupid o'clock....
Yes most of us are of that age im ok with COPD but i have it under control and the wife keeps having opps and they keep looking for cancer they have found it once but it was early so we think she will be ok
Good morning all from a cold and dry Weston-super-Mare! Have a good day and best wishes to all who are suffering and remember the old adage, "Creaking doors last the longest!"
Suggesting a fusion op on the toe. 1 in 10 need a second op. And at least 3 months recovery.. Mmm... Sent from my G3121 using Tapatalk
Afternoon all, wet and grey outside, very different to yesterday. Been plumbing this morning. How I hate it.
Talking of plumbing, I've had another look at my appointment for next Thursday and it is only a pre op assessment. The actual operation is a fortnight later on the 15th Feb., however, the pre op is with the senior consultant, so maybe I'll get some answers. The consultant's name is Mr. Probert I hope he doesn't have a brother called Lee
