The other alternative is to close all 'political threads' that will go a long way to stop the poison.... and lets not now ruin this thread please too....

That's not a random poster. You know it, yet you're still trying to belittle other posters on here.

Look at the Politics thread before you arrived and a few weeks afterwards. You came here to wind people up, this board was a calm, civilised place with many views represented and positions/ideas discussed. You just post your comics and refuse to debate anything, just soundbites and snidey attacks.

    You're going on ignore now.

He just needs to go on ignore.

Look at the Environment thread the other day. You raised a valid point about those throwaway coffee pods and he instantly comes on there to wind you up.

    Don't feed the little troll.

The poster was a fellow Conservative that was not allowed to post his views without being immediately insulted. Cologne's censorship is working extremely well on this board.

You are off topic yet again SH. Stop trying to bring politics into every thread, or I will stop you. It is not my forum, but the forum of all those who wish to contribute, and for one person to constantly hijack discussions is not acceptable. I have to listen to the views of everyone, and the messages I receive tell me that they are fed up with your disruption.
The ball is now entirely in your court.

If you bother to look back you will discover it was not actually me. As part of the clique I am not surprised at all by your comment.

I think I suggested this the other week. I am quite pleased that there is not a religious thread as I would be quite vociferous in that, unrepentant and would offend people... not that they have the right not to be offended, but that's by the by. I know some of you know that, though we've agreed to disagree and haven't let those discussions tarnish anything else.

I rarely comment on brexs*it anymore because there is no serious discussion to be had other than nodding sagely at some comments and trawling through some non-dom owned, self interested, ragtop opinion which does not give any kind of balanced view. The Environment and Politics Thread also get a wide berth from me. The political joke thread is fine - keep adding those cartoons etc., how it should be. Trumpers also gets my attention because he is without doubt the most unstable head of state in the properly democratic world... though it will be the Theocratic United States of America if the xtian right get their way: just like Iran but without the free healthcare and education.

So please, by all means, lock the political threads (I do not agree with the censorship, but the well has been poisoned) and remove any new ones as they spring up.

In the meantime, given that we've just got rid of "Colin Farrell" and "Alec Baldwin" we've now got "Novak Djokovic" <laugh> <sorry>:emoticon-0147-emo:

Carefull Fez, we have a 'Jesus' on our side now. <laugh> I don't think that we should remove political threads - I'm even open to religious ones ! We just need to remember that other people's opinions are just as valid as our own. We also need to remember that we're all a load of old (ish) men passing the time in front of a keyboard, mostly unable to change anything. Besides which some people can get politics into everything !

An alternative would be to banish political threads onto the Luton forum - nobody is using it.

For the first time in a long time I am not dreading the up coming game.

How the players do might go someway in telling us how they feel with the loss of the Porkandcheeser.

Probably best that Javi Gracia has a cup game first too, gives him a bit more time before the gruelling Prem comes at him.

    COYH!!

It also gives us more chance as he is more likely to take the cup seriously than Silva was.
