    Thoughts fellas,
We have scraped throo against Wolves.. Replay was a certainty ... got lucky
    Two games against Cardiff

This playing the so called reserve team seems false Economy with the sheer lack of quality on board therefore a replay is going to be a high percentage on the cards.

TP keeps saying we dont need the mid week games and yet we risk a replay against any team from lower league or lower prem teams ... simply not enough quality in the Squad to create cutting edge !

Put our strongest team out and get the oppo done and dusted out of the way...

We only need 3 wins to stay in prem at this stage of the season

    Potterpalm,

I agree said similar yesterday on Peadars FA CUP thread. Get the job done first. Less games, less injuries, less cards.

Good post Potterpalm, get the points under the belt and maybe TP will relax his rigid system and let the lads enjoy themselves.

I have VERY serious doubts as to whether Pulis actually knows how much it would mean to EVERYONE associated with Stoke City if we actually gave it a good go and built on what is a good FA Cup run so far. Not just for the old Stokies who saw both FA Cup semi finals in the early 70's but I have never seen us play at Wembley, Millennium Stadium yes but Wembley is another thing.

Come on Pulis show us yer brass!

I don't think 40 will be enough this year. It usually is I know, and only one team (West Ham with 42 in 2002/03) have been relegated with 40 or more but I just feel with it being so tight this season, I think 1 or 2 teams may go down with 40 more points. I think 46/47 points will see us safe.

We will need a lot more than 40, if we actually put out our best side then we could start to ACTUALLY win more matches than we have been doing. I don't know any other side apart from ours that was put out two under-strengthened sides in a week, it's nothing short of stupid and disrespectful, disrespectful to the club and also to the supporters that paid £40 a ticket! If the Premier League is a priority then bloody make it a damn priority, not by shoving Diao in the side and playing a flat five across the midfield, by actually playing our best side and a little formation called 4-4-bloody2. If the FA Cup is a priority then put out a side that can actually win matches and doesn't have to scrape wins against Cardiff and the Dingles.

These Tweets from a Sunderland fan I follow pretty much sums it up:

Just seen the team TP put out tonight. Cowardly selection from a man who doesn't trust his players imo.

He's spent a fortune on players yet doesn't seem to trust them to play football. Very odd.
