It’s not - it is very rare all of the top six / seven win in the same round of matches.
Last time it happened made a big deal of it on sky.
Tbf spuds are in just as much danger as us - and if they draw/lose I will feel a BIT more confident about us tomorrow night.
Monday’s always worry me as game days anyway
If spuds win I may even be tempted to actually place a bet at bookies
No idea what odds will be like as don’t normally bet in the bookies :)

This is like the coin-tossing odds debate.
Apart from the psychological effect on players of knowing prior results, the chances of us winning our game are always the same, regardless of the result of other matches.

I think you have answered yourself there
Dress it up however you want I think that should spurs win the likelihood/chance/psychological chance of us winning decreases.
Not saying it impossible just less likely that’s all

What are the odds of the top seven winning each week - if it happened regularly surely people would just lump on those seven every week and soon become very rich. The reason people don’t is cause usually one slips up.[/QUOTE]

It's like when that twat Warnock blamed the penalty given to Gerrard in the opening fixture of the season for his club getting relegated at the end of it.
Apparently it was nothing to do with the defeats after that or his poor management or his players being crap like.

The worst thing about playing on a Monday is when all the other top teams have won, puts extra pressure on. If some have lost it gives a great incentive to play well and gain on them. I think tomorrow's game will be more difficult than many would think.

Saints look decent going forward. Causing spurs problems. Problem is saints also look shocking at the back as well.
