You are right, they would. I believe that Enob honestly thought he was buying quality on the cheap, spending a little but enough to see us challenging for the play-offs minimum, which would have seen a buyer come in. It shows yet again what a complete **** wit he is. And Darnborough has to take responsiblity too. And hearing poor old Adkins, a good bloke and a decent manager, in his post match interview, it's clear he's been stitched up by Enob. What a complete ****ing mess. I hope the protests go up a level now it's all clear, and even more boycott. #AllamsOut
in reality what they’ve spent is peanuts. These are just token signings, clubs have spent on 1 player what we spent on Toral and Irvine. They’ve humoured us just like they are with these supporter meetings they have have no intentions of changing anything they just string us along until they’ve got their money back
I think you're missing the point. It maybe peanuts compared to boro. But compared to the prestons, Barnsley etc weve spent quite a bit. They have still spent but why spend at all. I wouldn't in their shoes if I was going to dump the team into league 1 take the next parachute payment and leave. Free agents all the way.
Ye it's a fair point. We spent £15m ish. That's still a lot for a championship club. Of course we could've spent more but if were that keen to trouser money, they wouldn't have spent that. I still reckon we'll be fairly busy but it'll be last minute as always.
A fish rots from the head down, and this is clearly what's happening to our club. We've all either worked somewhere, or had relatives that have, where the boss is a total ****, and shades of his personality are seen and felt, by staff and customers alike, right across the business. It's pretty obvious I know but Hull City AFC will continue its decline until boy blunder and his kin have finally departed. #allamsout
He probably should have done, or at least known enough not to trust them further than he could chuck them. But I think a) he didn't fully understand how deep the hatred of the Allams is for so many, and that's it's beyond repair (this was from talking directly with him), and b) he has been misled (or naive / too trusting, or more likely both) in terms of intent to strengthen in January. I think he's a good, honest man, and a very decent manager, but I can't for the life of me understand why the hell he would agree to work with the Allams. I know he wanted a job, and he'll be reasonably well paid (all relative of course), but he surely wasn't that desperate to risk having his reputation left in tatters.
I really don't believe failing at Hull City in its present state will seriously damage any manager's reputation.
He needed a job, like all of us need a job. Some of us hate who we work for or what we have to put up with and the constraints. He openly said he was itching to get back in and for me, he was massively clever in showing up at games. The press put him in the frame. I suspect, that Escab would walk past him in the street and not know who the hell he was...
I've listened to Adkins after match press conference a couple of times. Like he says with regards to transfers Actions speak louder than words. If he didn't know Ehab was a **** and is destroying the club he's starting too.
WARNING: Carlton Cole is attracting the interest of Hull City and Birmingham City according to the Sun.
Well he has no sell-on value so, if true, he must be willing to play for two pints of lager and a packet of crisps.
No, it wouldn't. He went to Indonesia to develop his career and bank balance, played 2 out of 16 matches, sacked for "very bad" performances but claims he was stitched up. Don't worry everyone, he's "as fit as a fiddle." https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/former-west-ham-chelsea-striker-10910540 I'd rather take a chance with Cheryl.
