Either she really doesn't understand, in which case you need to talk, explain football/rugby are an important part of your life & fit it in amicably. How would she feel if you stopped her doing her favourite hobbies?! Or she's training you nicely! Cooking for your mates, gets them onside & slowly weaning you off your thing i.e. sport & into doing her stuff, together. Then kiss goodbye to lads nights out too. Do you want to be alone, no. Do you want a life too, yes. And Pull your Fox Up, no lies in previous comment but no, i don't have a microbrewery
The promise of doing the housework Sunday morning and a foot massage usually does the trick for me It's all about compromise though.....got to endure things to enjoy other things I do hope that was a joke
probably for the best. We've got sky sports in our house next year (through virgin only £22.50pm to be shared amongst 5 of us, so £4.50pm- a lot cheaper than the pub!!) and she just cant understand the 'needless waste of money'!.
My missus lets me go to all the home matches and any away match when im not working. i can watch any match on tv that involves lcfc or england and we both go to tigers when possible (though that is getting VERY expensive) or watrch them on the box. the only non negotiable item is that our summer holiday ALWAYS entails me missing the first home game. this year I boxed clever--booked the hol a week earlier than usual and set off from somerset early. we arrived home at 2pm on the day of the reading match and I almost asked her for a lift to the pub to catch up with my mates until she said "come on the quicker you help me unload the caravan the quicker you can open a beer and listen to the commentary". That was it for me---why jeapordise a whole peaceful season for the sake of 1 lousy game? So having behaved myself I will get my lift to the pub at 12 tomorrow and cheer the lads to their 1st home win
