As this was in a transfer thread and I hadn't had my first cuppa, I actually assumed that Partial (pronounced Parshial of course) was a player joining a French club called Merlot. Perhaps I need to go back to bed.
Blimey . In all seriousness , have you thought about medication ? I am on allopurinol for life , still have to be careful though , I have not had an attack for years .
Absolutely. I told a friend who had gout about Fats and she said, 'Why isn't he on meds. It's bloody agony.'
Had blood tests yesterday and will be on allopurinol once this attack stops.... you need the attack to be stopped before you start taking them apparently.
Quite correct . As I have said , you still have to be sensible , but believe me , it's worth it . Good luck
A mate of mine is on allopurinol and drinks Amstel lager like his life depended on it. I wouldn’t recommend that, but anything in moderation is OK, even occasional red meat I believe.
Flew back to Dubai News Years Day: started in the airport lounge and continued through the flight: its free! Failed at the first hurdle so to speak...
I had a trial with them. It didn't really work out, but ended up playing for Italian club Valpolicella throughout my 20s.
