Some reports suggest that Alberto Aquilani, Joe Cole or David Ngog have not travelled to Exeter for the game as their departures are imminent. Aquilani is apparently returning to Italy with AC Milan either on loan or in a permanent deal, Joe Cole is going to QPR on loan or in a permanent deal, David Ngog has all but signed for Bolton and there is no rule that he cannot be in the Bolton squad for the game at Anfield on Saturday. Don't quote me on this ,but its just reports. One possible arrival is Sebastian Coates in a reported £7 million deal. He's been called by some as the ''South American Phil Jones''. He's 6ft 6'' tall.
Gosh reminds me of high school. Everytime size is mentioned it gets an inch bigger. At first I read 6'4, then 6'5 on Wikipedia- now I've seen 6'6 most recently on several places. How big is he? That lad is growing at an astounding rate... Give him a few weeks and Crouch will be biting his ankles.
http://www.firstrowsports.eu/ There you go mate - It's not sopcast but is very good quality and English
Reina, Flanagan, Robinson, Wilson, Skrtel, Adam, Meireles, Spearing, Maxi, Henderson, Suarez. Subs: Doni, Enrique, Carroll, Kuyt, Downing, Carragher, Shelvey. We are taking the Carling Cup seriously then...
Very seriously! Good to build up a momentum though, most of those players have already played a couple of games and will be fit and ready to go. Fielding a young team that hasn't played many competative games may have caused problems.
And what would you say if we played the kids and lost? You probably would have had a go at Kenny for putting out the kids... Be a bit more positive man!
I'm going to start changing wakkas posts in spanish or something, anything that stops the annoying idiot.
Very suprised that Suarez is playing - Hopefully he gets the job done and can come off at half time. Very strong squad though and looking at the bench, apart from Shelvey & Doni the rest are all first team players. Would have liked a Coady to be given a chance from the bench, really think he can make the step up in the next few years.
To be honest, i'm happy that Kenny is taking this game seriosuly. So many teams seem not to care about the Carling Cup and I want to win it! If the Premier League teams keep putting out second-string side, I think we have a strong chance of picking up the Carling Cup!
Still no Aqua - I guess it must be final then he's on his way out the door! Unless we're not cup-tieing him incase an English team want him. With all the talk of Suarez needing rest- and being on the bench at Arsenal- I would have thought the last thing we wanted to do was play him... I'd keep him fresh... still... If we don't win handsomely with that line up then Exeter are friggin' brilliant or there is something wrong with us.
