Derby County striker Cameron Jerome may make his debut after joining from fellow Championship club Norwich City. Midfielders Bradley Johnson and Joe Ledley have back injuries, but Ledley has returned to training and may play. Bristol City could be without captain Bailey Wright, who had a scan on a knee problem earlier in the week. If he is unavailable Korey Smith might have to move to right-back, after Zak Vyner joined Plymouth on loan, while striker Famara Diedhiou could be back. Lee Johnson's City scored four second-half goals when they came from behind to beat Gary Rowett's Derby 4-1 at Ashton Gate in September - the Robins' biggest league win of the season. But the Carabao Cup semi-finalists, who host Manchester City in Tuesday's second leg, are on a run of three successive Championship defeats, having recorded just three losses in their first 24 games of the season. Derby County manager Gary Rowett told BBC Radio Derby: "We wanted to add a more physical profile striker at the top end of the pitch. Cameron is quick, strong and a real handful for defenders when he's on form. He will be really motivated and he knows what it takes to get out of this league. "I don't expect anything other than a top Bristol City performance. They are a really good side and they have been one of the best sides in the division this year. "They have loads of energy, are a really young side and we will be very aware of what they are good at, but we are home, are in very good form and our focus is always on us." Bristol City manager Lee Johnson told BBC Radio Bristol: "Derby are a good side with a good manager, they're very organised, with players who can produce moments of individual brilliance. "I played with Richard Keogh (at Bristol City), managed Sam Winnall (at Barnsley) and played against three or four of their lads as well. "They are a very well established Championship club." SAM's prediction Home win 48% Draw 27% Away win 25% Match facts Derby have won 11 of their past 14 home league matches against Bristol City. The Robins' 4-1 win over Derby in the reverse fixture was their biggest league win over the Rams since a 3-0 victory in February 1985. The Rams have kept a clean sheet in seven of their last 11 Championship matches, conceding just three goals. Gary Rowett has won both his home Championship meetings against Bristol City - both with Birmingham City, in 2015-16 and 2016-17. Bristol City's Bobby Reid has been directly involved in four goals in his past six appearances in all competitions (three goals, one assist), including a goal at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.

⚽️ #BristolCity v Derby County: Fielding, Wright, Flint, Baker, Magnusson, Brownhill, Pack, Smith, Bryan, Paterson, Reid. Subs: Steele, Kelly, Eliasson, Walsh, Kent, Engvall, Diédhiou. #DERvBRC Fammy s back
A very good point tonight, we matched them all the way and have now stopped the rot. Great to see Fammy back tonight we really needed his physicality up front to give the Derby defenders something else to think about. A few games to get his touch, fitness and team awraeness back and he will really kick on. I have said a few times this season that Magnusson flatters to decieve and same again tonight, his poor positioning, lack of strength in the challenge and very poor distribution were all evident again tonight. I gave him the benfit of the doubt earlier in the season as he was a bit in and out the side, but he has had a long run now and is still making the same basic mistakes and putting the defence under pressure. 2 great saves from Steele though which will do his confidence a boost after the Villa game.
Was worried it was a bit to soon for Diedhiou as he’s only returned to full training this week. His first touch let him down a bit but that’s like you said his awareness needs a game or two. Magnusson does worry me against speedy forwards but he’s better as LB.
Villa, Leeds,Fulham PNE and Wolves all at home all can pick up 3 points Cardiff, Brentford, Midds and Sheff utd are away Cardiff and Sheff UTD look to be hardest Midds have QPR whilst Brentford the luckless Reading! Wins for them all would knock us back to 5th with 7 teams between 48 and 43 points! we played the best team for the point now who do we play to try and turn over Man city! ..................
His passing stats do not suggest very poor. He is below average in City's regular starters in the back four currently. And below the team average. He has regressed from being above average. At left back he lacks the range of Joe Bryan. The range of passing at left and right back affects the balance of the side. The team lacks fluency and suffers defensively for it.
All a bit tired looking tonight, lacked the spark. Thought Steele did well, but Flint & Reid our best players....Poor games by their standard were from Bryan, Paterson & Brownhill. Got lucky as was defo a pen...but hey some you win etc..
That was a nailed on penalty we were lucky - but like I said before how many times has it happened to us?
For the penalty, in real time I honestly thought that Flint got the ball, the replays clearly show he did not. The only person to blame for a penalty not being given is Cameron Jerome with such an over the top theatrical fall that he did actually fool the ref, just not the way he intended. Any ref looking at that fall would instantly think a dive it was so over the top.
Started off well but tired towards the end. I think Pack is very similar to Micheal Carrick where you don’t notice how good he is until he’s not playing. He allows Smith to roam, they are a very good partnership.
Bizarre how people see things differently.. I though Reid was poor, not lacking in effort but was weak, didn't get hold of the ball and make it stick, made the wrong runs. We looked a different side when Dave came on. he tired badly during the half but what would you expect?
