This could be a pipe opener for Leopardstown on 3rd of Feb, don't think the ground is going to be soft either as the wind around and the lack of rain should dry it right out, unless they water, agree that it's the best horse in the race and was quite taken aback when the nudge came through yesterday for Brain power.

I have never managed to get a handle on AQPS form and I don't suppose anybody has, they can be anything!
I fancied the runner up strongly as the formline was looking good....we beat all the other boys!

    Jump racing

Henderson said: "It's very speculative because the idea is to go to Sandown for the Contenders Hurdle, but it could freeze up over here and be clear there, you never know. The timing is correct but it's only a fallback."

"I don't want Might Bite to go over there and I don't need to be travelling over there at the moment," he said. "It's a pity as I'm full of admiration for them, it's a great racecourse and fantastic prize-money.

"We'll have a dust-up at Cheltenham, but not on their terms."

To use a golfing analogy, people, today at Newbury for Lieutenant Henderson must be considered a ‘par’ day with 2 winners.

Percy Street did next to nothing in the ‘card commencer’. His novice hurdlers gave him an unsurprising, but close, 1-2 in the 2 mile heat. The mares though were the disappointment of the day as neither placed. Much better in the bumper, however, as Morning Vicar obliged (at the unbelievable price of 5/1 following a huge drift). And Knighthood striped respectably as well in that one going down by just 6 lengths on debut.

I’m sure the great man will be, to employ another golfing analogy, off to the 19th hole now. What, what?!?

Strange remark, my old love. Didn't actually tip anything today was merely pontificating about the Lieutenant's charges. Did plump for 3 though, I suppose, when he correct answer was actually 2.

Won't be dining at the old soup kitchen, this eve, but do you want me to forward your order for Oxtail after events at Market Rasen?!?

Ran with the choke out from the very start but I've no doubt she'll be the best of them when old magic hands can teach her to calm down a bit! Happy was only 'pretendy' money down mind you <laugh>
