6 10 Kempton - Dream Mount 11/4, is a very juice price, Dettori only ride, and looks best horse on form anyway

    Two for me today.
    2-00 Hereford. Gonnabegood 8/1
    5-40 Kempton. Intransigent 15/2
    E/W singles and double.

Gonnabegood- if he can bring his hurdles form into this and his jumping is up to scratch then he’s got to have a chance. Ticks the distance and going boxes and at 8/1 is a great bet.

Intransigent- Don’t know an awful lot about the jockey Jason Watson but Andrew Balding has a knack of bringing out the best in these young riders. 2nd here back on November with the same jockey up and ran on too late to be denied on the line. Back up to 7 furlongs tonight and with the jockeys claim it effectively brings him down to 4lb lower than when winning this race last year. Has a very good record at Sunbury and 15/2 is too big to pass up in an open race.

    Good luck all

Nicola currie is riding some nice races lately and is in good form, think Henry candy will be able to eek out enough improvement for his horse ' olaudah ' to win this. 5/4 bit short but a win is a win in the first at Kempton.

I put a score on Metkaif this morning and lost the slip so went in and asked if I could cancel it and get another one, guy gave me my score back. First time ive ever lost a slip and no idea how it disappeared from my back pocket. Was about to write the bet out again but looked at the prices and saw that Hannons other one appears to be first choice and perhaps it was a sign that I got my money back.

Dont know what to do now, might jump onto Oisin even though its now half the price it was last night or might just leave it.

Or maybe I just need to back Metkaif again, never change your bet....

that was a very hard race to call and they finished accordingly, poor race for the grade and the runner up is the one to take from it, gave him a good look but thought he would need further

    Two losers!

Seriously though, what you have written on here today is worrying. Go back to your rule book and have a good think!

A supposed sensible gambler and good judge like yourself, would back one horse in a race, cash out and back another. If you dont KNOW in your head what is going to win then you leave the race alone completely.
You dont have a rule book....make one!
Also worrying that you call it a poor and trappy race yet you are suckered in! Enough good races to bet on out there without going on this pish!

The second is a lovely animal but the family are all middle distance horses, needs further already to be seen to its best!

I agree, there was 2 3/4L between 7 horses and the fact that I changed my bet tells you it wasnt a serious bet, it was only for a score.

ive invested a score in the last 2 days and placed 3 bets, I got one on that I wanted thanks to Watersmeet yesterday, this was the only race that interested me today with it being a 3yo race and me currently studying last years 2yos, I was hoping this was going to pay for my Oaks antepost bet but just wasnt my day today from start to finish.
