comments hit the nail on the head - he played well in the cup against Bury but got mullahed against Spurs - not ready and not good enough for the Prem - he's in danger of disappearing down the leagues as did Dudgeon
Dudgeon didn't disappear down the league's, he was a good player who had to retire due to injury very early in his career
Due to a very serious injury he got whilst with us and didn't recover from and ended up having to retire because of it.....we didn't realise him due to him being rubbish! He looked a very very good player until the injury
He looked a pretty good and promising left back for us especially in the early stages of the 2012-13 season before he got injured. His injury obviously affected him badly, so much so he had to retire early. A shame really
fully agree - we did quite well out of the Man U loans - Brady and Chester made it, Dudgeon and Stewart both suffered with long term injuries whilst Evans was ok but not quite good enough for the top level
On another thread... the only good thing you can say about Kevin Wimmer is that he's better than Josh Tymon
1) If you believe the agent quoted in the piece, then so did every other manager of a PL side. 2) I don’t believe the agent in the piece, because he says we were offered him as a PL side in 2012, and we weren’t a PL side in 2012.
It’s almost as if an agent is desperately waving a flag during a transfer window saying “come to me and I’ll get you a star of the future”.
His injury certainly affected him, he looked far poorer after it, but he retired from playing because he couldn't get a club, not because of the injury itself.

So why did you keep it going then by trying to add credibility to the story? Was probably best to just shuffle off.
