    We apparently are getting reported to UEFA over Maiga, don't know why. Anyway I would take Sturridge, Beckford or Toivonen.

    beckford?! why? surely he's no improvement on what we have? i rate him about the same level as leon best and i think he's average at best. (no pun intended)

    Were we ever interested in Pappis Demba Cisse? Seams like a strange one if not... considering he's french speaking and a Senegalese international so COULD link up well with Demba Ba and he seams to be the pacey forward that they keep going on about...

    Brilliant goal scoring record of the past couple of season and already has 4 goals from 6 shots this season, but wants to leave Freiburg apparently. Only the mackems and Blackburn have been linked lately :S

    the lad has shown zero desire to join us though. if rennes can afford him and we can't it shows how lacking in ambition we are...

    Realised how little he will play this season and we feel Sochaux are overpricing Maiga so may revisit Erdinc.

    id go for vicotr moses or hugo rodegella from wigan. for me wigan are going down this year, rodegella openly wants to leave, wigan want 10m for him i think. 10m is a lot though and whilst i dont doubt hes worth it i do doubt MA will want to fund a player who probably wont have much resale value. victor moses on the other hand could be avalible for under 10m, hes young and english and very talented. he just needs game time and any price under 8m would be a great deal, i think MA would favour this move as hes a great prospect.

    i wouldnt mind victor obinha from west ham been a fan of his for ages and hes lightning quick and stron the only flaw is hes an awful lot like oba martins who struggled here, he would though provide some pace to strike froce and he can also play outwide. he needs to work on his game though he does stupid things and tends to try and be a one man team like n'zogbia does. hes still only youn think hes 22, well worth a punt i reckon.
