Mate got a season ticket but doesn’t go to many evening / night games because transport is a nightmare and takes about 2 1/2 hours to get home afterwards.

Mayor Joe doing his best to make the Council/Everton deal look iffy, The "is the council at risk if Everton get relegated" looks very iffy, how can anyone predict that any particular club won't be relegated in the next 25 years?

" Is the council at risk if the club get relegated?

Casanova asked what would happen if Everton went down, with the consequent fall in TV money and attendances. Would that put the council’s investment at risk?

Similarly, StuartWood said there was “always a risk in lending money”.

The mayor insisted he would not enter into any deal that could leave the council exposed and that accountants and lawyers were poring over the proposed agreement.

He said: “It’s now out to due diligence in terms of legal checks to make sure that we have everything in place to protect the council.

“There’s no way I’m going to enter into an agreement that would open Liverpool City Council to risk.”

In terms of the practicalities, the council would get “first dibs” on Everton’s key revenue streams to ensure it got its payments

And the mayor said he was confident Everton would be staying in the Premier League.

He added: “There is security in place to protect against all eventualities, including relegation and all kinds of things.

“Everton have been going a long, long time without being relegated. The fact that they have got a financial backer now, it’s very unlikely they’ll go down.

“But even if they did there would be securitisation on season tickets and TV rights. And the agreement is that Everton would put some money aside as security. We will put a deal in place that will have security against all eventualities.”

The mayor said any cash from a naming rights deal for the new stadium could also be used as security.

So, if EFC were relegated they'd basically belong to the city council.

The fact that they have got a financial backer now, they shouldn't need this kind of deal in the first place.

The fact they have a financial backer that is prepared to enter into this deal should tell you something.
I know you won't get it though :emoticon-0100-smile

    Ok, I'll try
When Mourinho decides that 0-0 is a great result before the game has started and encourages all his players to all get in between the opposition and the goal. And his team show no inclination to try and score a goal. That's Parking the Bus

When a team win 4-0 without the other team managing to get a shot off, That because Everton are ****.

Pickford has been found out. Just put the ball anywhere near the corner and he can't reach it. 10 goals conceded in the last 4 games.

"Everton manager Sam Allardyce said his side "lacked professionalism" as they were thrashed by Tottenham at Wembley."

TBF they learned from their manager who lacked professionalism as England manager.
