Absolute sleep inducing $hite...Two teams lacking in confident and most importantly skill and desire. If we stay up, it will be because there are three teams worse than us...not because of any turn around on our behalf
We don't have options off the bench, which is why Adkins hasn't played Campbell and Dicko together. Also, neither of them can complete a full 90 minutes.
I agree , my only point is people think signing a miracle striker is the answer. But a striker needs good players around him setting him up to score.
Bowen looks like he's developing well, to play on either side. That run through their players without being tackled was excellent, and we need players to run at defences to create opportunities. On another day and with a fitter strike force we would have battered Reading.
Thirteen strikes on goal and a clean sheet says there wasn't a lot wrong - it just needs 'someone' to start converting shots into goals.
Singing about mcshane was another low point , why not try getting behind the lads in the black and amber - was like a funeral parlour most the game except for the singing about the poor mans Alex Bruce
I've come to conclusion that the squad we have is sh1te, theres no other reasoning. That was utter crap. We have a centre half that can't kick the ball in a straight line, a decent centre half playing right back, a right back playing left back (abeit very well at the moment), a central creative player playing on the right wing but playing far too narrow thus been overlapped by a centre half in Tamori. Then theres Bowen who scored all his goals on the right wing and put on the left. Then our tatic is to hoof diagonal 100 mile an hour balls into the corner, most of which run out of play. In conclusion its all Ehab's fault, I don't blame Adkins so much, Oh and how unfit are we? Toral was blowing after 59 minutes,
Damn right Even worse people singing before he was definitely going off I could have just about lived with it if he was being stretchered off, but when sung he was THE OPPOSITION...it would have served some for ****s right if he’d got up and scored against us You’ll be pleased to know that me and Askew went straight for the ‘City reject’ chant instead
Lets change the manager again? How many managers have we had since Ehabs taken over? Bruce, Phelan, Silva, Sluts and Adkins. Thats 5 managers in a very short amount of time. All Ehabs about is cost cutting, no manager is set out for any sort of success with this idiot in charge.
I see nothing wrong with welcoming old players that have done a lot for the club in the past. It isn't as if they begged to leave is it. When you think of the chant we had for Mcshane and the one for Harry and Tom it just shows how far we have slumped into the doldrums. There is nobody we could chant about at the moment. Saying that the last 20 minutes there was some fight in the team, they did seem almost frantic to score a goal and its just a shame there seemed to be nobody capable of doing that. I am fairly confident we will stay in this league, I think Adkins has instilled a bit more confidence in the players whereas with Slutsky all confidence seemed to be drained out of them by his glum prowling up and down and shrugging of the shoulders saying he did not have any idea what to do. Hubby says we won;t get anywhere if we don't play 2 up front and he is getting really fed up of going to watch. How good would it be to string a few wins together though.
Nothing wrong with showing appreciation when a returning player's name is announced or acknowledging him during the warm-up, especially if he responded with a wave. However singing about them during the game is something only the new generation of fans would do. Don't think even Babs members would.
Completely agree , wouldn't even be as bad if there was plenty of singing about our own team as well , but when it's just about the only song of the day it was embarsssing
The lack of fitness is a ****ing disgrace. At one point in the first half Dicko laid it off and just jogged along the left flank, huffing and puffing out of breath. ****ing embarrassing. i was ****ing fuming about that. Says it all about hull city fans. What a ****ingembarassment. Not a song in support of the team the whole first half yet that **** ginger **** gets the biggest chant of the day. WTF
Well. Match report first. Ref was a ****. Gave us absolutely **** all, and gave them everything. You can see what Nige is doing, and it's working. Even Hector, who I'll admit to groaning at a lot, looks like there's a player in there, just needs a bit more work. Despite being robbed by a **** of a ref, I enjoyed the game, we fought til the end and I like that. Rest of the day? Well, my daughters had got me 2 tickets. No idea why, no way on earth was my missus going to go, which left me with a spare ticket. So, my +1 was PLT. Yeah I know, but we both suspected we weren't as annoying in real life as we are online, and we were right. You know what? He's a good lad! Which is a bit annoying because it means OLM was right. Still, it's gotta happen occasionally. Met PLT at the William Gemmell, where I also met Geoff Bielby and others from the Trust, and yep, joined for 3 years. Geoff was exactly as I expected, top bloke. Had a good chat with him too, and not sure if it's been released yet, but ****s gonna go down as the kids say when something is released. Met a few others from various groups too, interesting mix in there tbh. Anyhoo, good day all in all, made some new mates, talked bollocks about football and discovered that PLT is a bit gay for Big Hec. Oh I'd parked at Walton Street. Wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. In Nige I trust now. #allamsout
Big opportunity missed again, we were the better of two poor sides. Like the way we look stronger defensively but we have to find a way of scoring. Its becoming an habit of been at least equal or better than the opposition but not winning. Poor game over all and I can't even get p_____.I'm determined to get through dry January which I have never managed before. Manager needs backing, a couple of squad players are not going to make much difference but two or three decent players at this level would. Can't see us spending much but watching today we need to do something. Its down to Ehab which does not give me much hope. Sunderland next week ? Massive game
You can tell you don't go. He was at the end of the road. He's sorting us out is nige. It isn't pretty but we'll get there.
