I'm on River Frost in my lucky 63 but am not sure El Terremoto deserves to be 66/1 and have definitely seen worse ew shots. So virtual ew on that one for me

I wonder whether connections realise just what a beast they have on their hands here. OK it was a listed race but you would say most of them are probably somewhere between Grade 3 and Grade 2 horses and he has simply smashed them to bits hands and heels. I don't know how the handicapper will view the race but you had 2 in there rated 163 (Smad Place and Gods Own, both of whom clearly didn't run to that) but Art Mauresque as a mid-150s horse is probably a decent yardstick so I would think Waiting Patiently has run somewhere between 160 and 165 there and he hasn't been asked a serious question.

If Cheltenham has some soft in the going description I would love to see him in the Champion Chase - I really think he has the speed and gears to win that.

Felt rough as arseholes all day but did watch the Kempton race where Waiting Patiently didn't disappoint. Put some very useful sorts to the sword with ease. The ITV pundits felt he struggled to go with them down the back. If they are correct then maybe the 2 mile event will be too short. However I thought he was just a bit scruffy at a couple of fences which affected his rhythm for a few furlongs. He soon got back on an even keel and was brilliant thereafter. Serious horse and would be great to see him line up in the Champion Chase on the Wednesday with a bit of ease in the ground. 8/1. Could be the race of the week if all the market principals turn up.

Dublin Racing Festival if he wants soft ground. I'd love to see him make the trip.

Ridden today with so much confidence. He's clearly miles ahead of that group and if he's miles ahead of these then he's very much in the mix for the QMCC or Ryanair.
