Fraser was lucky to play behind such strong defensive units before and not having to face as many shots or pressure. His errors and weaknesses have always been there, but up until this year they haven't really cost us as many goals/points. I haven't been banging this drum since his first season with us for no reason. McCarthy isn't great, but he's solid and doesn't have any obvious weaknesses. Fraser has numerous.
Dont like the look of that team at all! Where is the goal threat?? Dont have confidence in one of those players to cause a threat apart from maybe Tadic
Fans have been making excuses for his 'poor form' for about 2 years now. The fact is, if Fraser has to move his feet to make a save, the chances are he isn't saving it.
Madness. Easily our most talented striker and he doesn’t get a look in. You wonder what is going on in training?
Only change I would have made would have been Boufal for Tadic. Maybe Sims for Davis and move Tadic to the No 10 role. Hopefully this gives Redmond time to work on his game more.
His injury has hindered him massively. Obviously being the size he is he was never the most agile but his footwork has definitely gotten worse since his injury.
I don't know why, and I'm expecting to be wrong come 5pm, but I look at those two teams and think we can get a result.
He was like that before his injury, there are plenty of clangers from his time at Celtic. Interestingly, he never knew he was left footed until a Celtic GK coach was working on his kicking.
The concern is that as he gets older his mobility is not going to improve. The best we can hope for is improved positioning and reading of the game, which hasn't really happened so far.
And TLL we were great on the counter attack too: played fast free flowing out of the back with strikers who took their chances... such happy days...
I might be saved because although Bein is supposed to show all premiership matches live; cannot find a viewing tonight: seems even they cannot be bothered to show this one...
Tiss saying it's not a 'must win' but that it's probably a 'must not lose'. Shakespeare, Koeman and Bilic all got more points in their final ten games than MP2 has.
Charlie Nicholas saying he's surprised MP2 is still there, the players are confused and don't quite know what the manager wants. Thinks other teams down there have more fight about them, but we have better players.
Phil Thompson saying that players just aren't playing anything like the players that they have been in the past, and it's happening to pretty much all our players at the same time. Merson saying "Mnnfng ahiuhfh ijoijoij"
