Although I think it is great that you'd like to give those that are out another chance Ron, and I like the idea of 1000 a month, what if at the end of the year, someone who has kept their original 1000 and has built a nice profit on it, gets pipped by someone who has had, over the course of the year, maybe an extra few thousand to have available to lay out? Hard one to call, but I think, as it is your competition, and you're running it, it is your call mate. <sitsonfence> <passesbucketc>
Thanks for the views. I think I have found a solution which keeps everyone involved (if they want to be) and doesn't cause the potential problems raised. When someone loses all of their £1,000 they will be suspended from betting until the start of the following month when a further £1,000 will be allocated to allow them to continue placing bets. However, they will have been relegated into the new Consolation League. The loss will be carried over. If they blow that £1,000 they will either be relegated to a Consolation League 2 etc or stay in a single Consolation League (haven't decided yet - will depend on how many blow their allocation). Here is the new Consolation League standing
Strictly speaking Reebs, the 10/11 isn't available with "at least 2 bookies", which is why I wasn't able to take the 10/11 with PP (see above). I'll let it go as I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't had the same bet '
Going to try and be clever ...something I'm not known for! £100 win @7/4 on sunnytahliateigan hunt 1.30, if this wins can you bank my £100 stake and place the profit 175 on Mystic moon @ 7/4 lingfield 2.20, if this wins bank 175 and place profit 306.25 on Dutiful son @7/4 lingfield 2.50 and finally if it wins bank 306.25 and place 535.94 on wiff waff @ 7/4 6.15 Newcastle. Soon as one loses scrap it...probably 1.30. Thanks Ron 're another 1000 The leg work is done by you and a cracking job it is with all the stat that you are providing. It's your call as it's your comp. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Just noticed that wiff wiff is 5/4...that's how long it took me to type that! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
I'm afraid I can't allow that NDS as it breaks the single bets only rule. For example doubles aren't allowed but you could say £100 on horse A and if it wins put all the return on Horse B. Sorry mate. If others did something similar it would become a nightmare to administer. I have placed your first bet: £100 win @7/4 on sunnytahliateigan hunt 1.30 You will need to decide what to do if your first horse wins or loses. Imagine if your first one lost and all the others won.
. I recall doing a knockout competition once. Can't remember how it went but I've never been asked to do another one
No worries Ron i'll try to keep on it as the day unfolds hoping work doesn't get in the way! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Actually Reebs I have only just spotted that you were in an hour before my post so there may well have been another bookie quoting 11/10. For some reason I thought you had posted after I had . Your bet is on at 11/10
