Not sure if I will get on tomorrow but if Voice Of Dubai (Newcastle 19.45) is available at 5/1 or more and all 8 run, he might be an ew bet. Sire 48% winners to runners of 2yos 2017. Dam has Green Desert and Zafonic behind her. Looks a pretty poor race. If fit should be in the frame at least.
9/1 available in 3 places. Can't fancy the fav at odds on. Sure, on debut, he was slowly away, ran green and ran on to be nearest finish, but the form hasn't exactly been boosted and this is a small step up in class. I'm taking a risk with a debutant but at 9/1 with his pedigree that looks a decent price
Been having a long look at this one Reebs. The only thing that's causing me to ponder is that the sire was essentially a sprinter and is also a champion sire of sprinters (including crack sprinters Battaash, Harry Angel and Mecca's Angel). However there seems to be a bit of stamina on the dam side and he didn't look like stopping lto. Also his best RPR was awarded for his effort on Polytrack over a mile All in all I tend to agree so will probably have a dabble in the comp
Come on folks you have only 4 more days to enter your predictions for 2018. I will publish results (so far) throughout the year, so even if you stick to NH or flat you can see your performance measured against others. So get your predictions in.
Morning 2.30 Huntingdon-Riverside City Each Way @ 6-1 [Paddy Power] Must run well...if brakes are off
Almost a contradiction in there; "the Fibresand surface, along with the nature of the course, is reliable in ensuring a fair race in which, most of the time, the best horses tend to come out on top, a point made by Newmarket trainer David Simcock. Unlike the downhill run at Lingfield and sweeping bends into the straight at Kempton, Chelmsford and Wolverhampton, the long home straight at Southwell results in less interference towards the end of races and a greater emphasis on stamina." Then: "Pace is another key aspect of all-weather racing with a steadily-run contest at Southwell a rarity. Gaining a good position in the early stages of a race is important at all courses, but it’s arguably most vital at Southwell where all chance can be lost in the first furlong if a horse resents the kickback." Sounds like Southwell is a good place to bet/lay in running. Keep a note of horses that don't like the kickback and those not affected by it. Any evidence in existence to suggest which surfaces may be best for the horses? The aim of the artificial surface is to get as close to the feel of turf as possible. I can only assume that Tapeta, being the latest invention, best meets that aim
In the main picture currently on the home page of Sporting Life Racing does Liutenant Henderson look apprehensive, concerned, contemplative, focussed or shifty?!? Thoughts?!? I can’t quite decide.
Palace Guard last race Dundalk and Fintry Flyer last race Newcastle Bit of word for both. Palace the stronger
Blastofmagic @newcastle should win tonight IMO as 2 lengths in front lto, then lost on line so I think tonight you'll get your money back only 6/4 GL if you play
Captain Scooby running again tonight jesus swear this thing runs every 3 days at the moment, making me broke wish it would just win so I can stop betting on the bloody thing, I'm sure they just want one more win and then will retire him, hopefully tonight will be the night been nearly 2 years!
Menelik was garbage sorry, hopefully make it up with Tevez who'll be running on the 30th and should be about 20/1 hopefully. A horse I own a small part of runs tomorrow, not expected to win this one tho
