Hello, pilgrims. There could be a potentially decent sort making his debut, over timber, ‘oooooooooooooooooooooooooop’ at The Bridge of the morrow. A few of the local dogs are barking anyway. CRUSHED (12.30) had 8 runs on the level for old boy William Haggas winning twice and is currently perched on 75 in that sphere. He change hands in September, for 40,000 guineas (this was his sales listing - http://www.tattersalls.com/cat/autumnhit/2017/306.pdf), and Crushed had the good fortune to then be sent west to Wiltshire and the barn of Alan King. Crushed’s dam was a dual winner but eye-catchingly she is also a half-sister to several Pattern performers such as Beaten Up (Grade 1 winner), Harris Tweed (Group 3 victor and multiple Listed winner) and Vow (Listed winner). A very decent lineage packed full of proven stamina for the strains of 2 miles of hurdling. A most interesting recruit to jumping and I would be surprised if Crushed couldn’t begin his new career with a win in Catterick’s ‘card commencer’ tomorrow. Good luck, crew.
£12,000 how did he get it that cheap?!? Cor bally blinkin’ blimey and by ‘eck, I say by ‘eck, that’s the bargain of the term, troops. Maybe the staff at the coalface will club together and we can get Mr Cameron down here on 'beef stew and dumplings day' one Tuesday. Meanwhile, wasn’t A.P McCoy charging about £5k for lunch with him at last year’s Cheltenham Festival???
Hi all,Just the one bet for me today, turning gold 1230 Catterick, saw last run in flesh as finished in front of a horse that I’ve got a small share in,looked a big imposing type that would come on for the run last run was on flat couple months before, the way went in the market that day way support that, ran a cracker to finish second to the winner who by all accounts Mick Easterby thinks the world of.Good luck all
Probably best not to take much notice of barking dogs when it comes to tipping horses. They tend to tip dogs. But thank them little waggy tail canine critters from me. Yet another great lay.
Spare parts runs again tonight At Chelmsford, only Ran last night at Kempton and won, gone up 12lb for that 3 length victory but this track is very different so just watching. Tangramm looks to be a solid bet, CD winner and just missed out at Wolves 7 days ago. short enough but should go in.
Nicola Currie 3 on the night so far, another excellent female jockey coming through along with Josephine who is pretty established now, and Bryony Frost over the jumps. Hollie Doyle also very good, good to see the females coming through
As much as i'd love to see Captain Scooby win Hopefully Nicola can get her 4-fold up and make it 4 on the night!
