Bloody stupid if saints are going to sign a player with a injury, let alone being a possible reoccurring one!! Rather buy a better player..,

I'll say this not for myself but for everyone else who wants to say it to:

I'll believe it when it's on the OS

Yes seeing as the previous one didn't really have much backing to it, coupled with the fact not everyone wants to read 3 pages to find something out. <ok>

We won't sign a player with an injury. If he has an injury then he won't pass the medical.

But it's much more likely that Fontaine has an AOC like injury. In other words, he aint injured.

    As I said before:

Seeing as Fontaine is out of contract at the end of the season and all transfer activity at Southampton is carried out in secret, I strongly suspect that these stories are coming from Fontaine's agent in an attempt at getting his client a new contract offer from his current club.

By claiming the club at the top of the league is interested in him, might kick Bristol City into offering new terms.

A new thread every time some news emerges from a transfer rumour? Not even a new rumour but just an update which isn't even much of an update because it's still media sources, Jesus wept.

6 foot 2, left-footed and fast is what I can gather from a few of their fans so far.

Referring to yourself as Jesus is a bit much. Anyway, cheer up Grumbles, almost the weekend.

Does it really matter if a new thread comes up? This is always going to happen and if you don't want to read or comment in it, don't.

In terms of Fontaine, being tall, pacey and left-footed, he sounds like the ideal centre-back. Mixed reviews from Bristol City fans - some think he's their best defender and others don't rate him but I trust Adkins as he's made 3 brilliant deals so far.

I guess Fontaine might be on lower wages than Gorkss would have been. Also he's younger, quicker and left footed.

I'm sorry, let me make the article idiot proof for you.

All the DE said was that we were in negotations, do you really think we haven't been in negotiations for a player before and then pulled out?

Some bristol city fans thinks he is their best player and some said grab the money and run, which one is it? to be honest i think i would of preferred gorkks because most qpr fans said they'd be gutted if he left! Oh well,in nigel we trust!

It's probably because some of them are jealous that he's leaving for a much better club.
