Maybe a compromise, a smaller version of the original planned stadium, it'll save all parties a few bob and will be less to pay back if it goes pear shaped.

It'd be a money saver and appease those opposing the council's risk, and there is plenty of objection, which is understandable when it's considered his gamble 'could' backfire and cost residents/council tax payers bigtime.
But you're bound not to agree, also understandable as an Evertonian I suppose.:emoticon-0100-smile

So instead of 60k 50k is pointless?, it's better than what Everton have now.

Just watched Moshiri on Granada Reports, he didn't sound as confident as he did a few weeks ago, he said "there's a long way to go" in regards to when the build would actually start.

Tbh 280 mil would do a lot of things for a lot of areas.

The no commonwealth games to offset some cost via tv money or whatever grants can be gotten is an issue.

If this is a commercial goer of a plan what profit will the council see to the money?

You can read into that whatever you choose to

Of course there’s a long way to go, who ever suggested this process would been plain sailing is deluded.

I prefer to focus on the comment that the ‘we have to have a stadium and we will have a stadium’

What do you think has changed in the words of big Joe btw?

Joe can say what he likes Tobes but you know he's putting his arse on the line with this offer, he's got to get it past the council anyway which won't be a doddle.
Good luck to him, you, Moshiri and EFC, get the thing built or come up with a plan B.

He's a total moron to choose the same week to use his office to whinge to the police about his club not getting maximum value for Barkley

He needs sacking immediately and a #neutral can determine the worth of his financial proposals

The offer for the council to lend EFC the money instead of a private lender.

Actually the council would borrow the money from a private lender and give it to EFC

The agreement is that EFC pay the council £7m a year back?

The problem people see with it is the council not acting as surity as agreed but now being the lender, so why Tobes isn't happy I don't know, can't blame Everton if someone is prepared to throw £280m of other people's money at them.

Joe was unhappy for Barkley going to Chelsea on the cheap.

Over the last couple of weeks Tobes has realised Moshiri is a #fraud

Too many dodgy things stacked up, he can't deny it any more

He really thought Moshiri would change things for Everton

When I first saw these reports I thought that was a bit racist of Moshiri, now it has come out that Lukaku is RC it seems even worse.
