Been confirmed in the Daily Record that these two want to take over Charlton.

If true that McLeish has been at the last two home games, then at least it would appear a sale is on the horizon.

McLeish as Director of Football, or even Manager ?

Fair to say that the takeover soothsayers on CL have never once mentioned this guy before, proving that they were guessing all along.

According to some Rangers fans, Muir is an “asset stripper” and bad news.

By the time RD is finished, there won't be anything left to strip.

There is still Konsa, Holmes & maybe Fosu?

Robinson didn’t bother disguising his frustration last night - “I will carry on being professional” etc. Dead man walking. He knows that potential new owners and managers are in the Box at every one of our home games now, ready to swoop on the carcass.

It was mentioned on Saturday on CL and I posted it on here. Both McLeish and Muir were in the Directors box for the Oldham game and Mc Leish was at The Valley last night.

Yes, I was commenting on the fact that the Soothsayers confused Andrew Muir with Donald Muir.

Saturday was certainly the first time his name was mentioned - perhaps he is the guy who is using the solicitor that Bexley Boy’s niece works in?

McLeish is... and always has been.... a 5hit Manager so god knows what he would be like as an owner.

If it turns out to be true, how many on ere would buy a S/T on the strength of it?

Donald Muir has got an appalling reputation with Rangers fans, who have described him overnight as a professional asset stripper.

Thank God for us fans that we have got Richard Murray to safeguard our interests.

It gets worse. Mark McGhee was sitting next to McLeish.

Thankfully there is another bid on the Table. If the Scots asset stripper takes over I will not be getting a Season ticket. It will be Slater and Jimenez all over again.

Donald Trump or even Donald Duck would be better. Or @DonCorleone

“So Donald, what was it that attracted you to the struggling League One club with a stadium in a prime London location?”

From what I have read about Muir, I’m not sure what their problem is with him.

He’s an asset stripper & a chancer Don.
    Tony Jiminez in a kilt.

This from an ardent Rangers fan...

So the massive celebration we were all looking forward to will be muted, to say the least when Roland finally goes, if Donald Muir is the new owner.

Wasn’t his job to recover funds lent to the club by Lloyds bank? That would explain the asset stripping.

I think we would all agree that we need a benevolent new owner, someone who not only cares about the club but who has the £2-3m that’s going to be needed for players to get us out of this awful league. If nothing else the last 5-6 years has proved you get nowhere running the club on a shoestring.
