TBH they all seemed.... well.... to get on with it so hopefully it did get cleared up at HT. If you've heard that it was great.

Everyone explained to Holgate at half time that he was #deluded but he refused to accept it so...

Now we get to see how far the FA will go in prosecuting an innocent just to pander to the insanity of a violent homophobe

You can be black, white, brown or any colour and racist, Burden of Proof is the person that complained.

That's the natural order of things , unfortunately in this era of trial by social media all logic goes out of the window.

Holgate is a little **** trying to squirm his way out of trouble for basically assaulting Firmino shoving him over the hoardings, Madley wrote in his report that Firmino didn't use any racist language, watching it back he does seem to say 'puta'. I think it would be harsh to punish him for using an obscenity given what had happened to him, it's a natural reaction to a situation like that

unfortunatley it doesn't work that way.

it should more or less but it doesn't

in this world all someone needs do is make the accusation and you are tarred for life

same for sexual harassment or homophobia etc etc.

With racism there's always somehow a natural presumption that the racist using the offensive language is always from the dominant, hegemonic class. This is dangerous thinking, racism issues from and moves in all directions.

"The report says Madley has made it clear to the Football Association he would have sent off the Brazil international had he used racist language."

So lip readers say no evidence to suggest racist language was used, the referee who was the only impartial man on the pitch and was closest to the accused said he heard no racist language.

Hurry up and clear the bloke ffs, must be devastating for him and his family.

yeah.... seems to be the pinch of salt needed.

they should be announcing something tomorrow if they are intending to deal with it before weekend.

need 48 hours response time so have to charge or not tomorrow?

Seen Firmino didn't travel to Dubai and was allowed to go on holiday. Found that a bit wierd if he did not say anything bad...

And as we know with FA kangaroo courts if you are charged you are found guilty.

Despite being innocent he still has to give evidence to the FA

Missing out on the warm weather training is just yet more consequences of Holgate lying to cover his violence

Living in a city where people of African ancestry make up about 2/3rds the population, I certainly would never make that assumption.

However, most people I know who have been called a "cracker" or a "honkey" or... This is my favourite "mayo" find the offensive terms more amusing than offensive.

There is much more sinister racism at play against the "majority" when they are in the minority, I've witnessed several events myself... But name calling just doesn't pack the same punch the other way around, there isn't the same historical threat behind the slurs going the other way, they sound more silly than offensive.
