Think not - what happened to Bobby was more likely to happen than him reaching escape velocity and a geo-stationary orbit, or a dead stop before he came to the hoardings. If a professional footballer cannot compute that then they are a danger to every other person on the pitch, and the spectators watching.

Me too. I just think the blue-tinted spectacles are out on this one, especially over Holgate's motivations, conscious or unconscious.

 

No one will truly know what they are(unless a witness can corroborate what was said.) No point thinking about that part. My problem is what happened before and holgate should be punished.

My opinion. You see it loads in the PL, a player gets a shove and ends up sliding into the hoardings.

It’s a yellow card, same as a shove would be in any other area of the pitch
