It sounds like : - Dembele of old is gone - Sissoko should be gone at the first reasonable opportunity - Some serious creative CM signings are needed ASAP to strengthen the squad
Get sissoko off ffs I'd rather have had one of our youngsters on the pitch instead of him .we really do need another creative midfielder added in this window and I'm available to taxi sissoko to whatever airport he needs to go to feck off out of our club
Only three attacking players on the pitch for Spurs - Kane, Llorente and Lamela. I can understand Wanyama and Dembele starting as they need minutes for match fitness but why play Sissoko?? I know N'koudou hasnt set the world alight at Spurs but why not start him in this game?
I’ve just watched most of the first half on periscope from a fans phone, so it’s hard to comment on anything other than our play in the final 3rd, because the **** quality and distance from the pitch made anything else impossible to see. One thing that was clear though was the sideways passing. FML. Ball goes out to Trippier in the final 3rd.... back inside it goes to a DM... over to the left it goes.... back inside it goes... then back to Trippier... you get the idea. There’s no creativity. It doesn’t seem to matter who we play, we just seem to get stuck in what appears to be a light exercise warm up training drill of attack v defence.
I desperately want to be positive but it's feckin' impossible. No offence to the Don's, who have done very well, but this is abject. We have a 75% first team out there, but we're not playing like against a team 2 divisions below us. Son already coming on and no doubt Dele to be on too soon. So much for offering these guys a rest. The team out there today need to take a really hard look at themselves.
If Pochettino was Fergie, he would have told the team today at KO and at HT, that today and for some games hereafter, some of you are playing for a slot on the CL squad roster.
