I get the vibe that if not for the Cardiff result, Holloway would have got the bullet tonight Burton is - yet another - must win game
His statistics really are shocking. I genuinely can' understand why he is kept on when Warnock JFH and Ramsay were so easily sacked in comparison. We have had 3 great results against sheff Utd, wolves and Cardiff. That's 3 positives for the season. We have so many negatives that my battery would die before I could type them up.....only %98 left
I'm really gutted. Never saw it coming, we're a league above them, so how the **** did they get one over us. Olly must go, take the whole ****ing lot with him, fernandes out, false promises, no delivery. I'm particularly pissed off because I was rocking after we beat Cardiff. I could see the future, Olly was the man to lead, fernandes, a mixture of business and passion, best keeper in the league, a middle 3 as good as any in the division, a star was born up front. I never signed up for this unpredictability, I expect level emotions, but with success, more success than all other clubs with similar expectations. I hate them all, bunch of useless ****s. Beat Burton next week, I'll fall back in love.
Hate to say it but that's me and my boy not bothering with any more games this season. Been a keen away traveller these last few years but I just can't do it anymore. He's 12 and constantly says it's rubbish, I really can't argue with him anymore. Massive shame
Been listening to talkSPORT since 7am (8pm London), nothing about our “shock” defeat mentioned at all. It’s all Coutinho, Hughes, Johnny Evans and proper FA Cup shocks - Stoke and Villa.
Really? We all know the answer to that just as we all know the reason why he was appointed in the first place. But none of you have ever successfully picked the name of someone who you say would have done better.
The bloke down the pub, the postman, my son, Robbie Jackson, guy from 2 doors down. All would do a better job than that clueless ****
Have they applied? I would too and so would you I'm sure. And I could do it on a shoe string too. I would bring in the bloke down the pub, the postman, your son (and mine) Robbie Jackson, guy from 2 doors down. Fact remains that every manager pretty much since Terry Venables has been unable to rouse us to play in the Cup. I certainly won't be making any decision not to watch them again on the basis that we lost a meaningless game in a meaningless competition again. Perhaps they're just not inspired by the Beeb's hype each year. Or they just don't like rap. Actually, thinking about it given the unnessary cancellation of all fixtures when our national reserves get to play the likes of Lichtenstein and Luxembourg and the whole squad gets 10 minutes game time so that the manager can see how they cope under the pressure of an International friendly against one of the nations that knows how to kick a ball, why not have the Cup games on International weekends? Sorry I forgot. It's the magic of the FA Cup.
If he’d made ten changes we’d have moaned too but he probably should have made one or two more. Freeman ran his bollocks off over Christmas and wasn’t himself yesterday (and arguably lucky not to be sent off). Manning has disappeared completely and surely would have been a better choice than Chair in what was a very lightweight midfield. We don’t have wing-backs. Cousins does nothing there at all, Wszolek has gone from a once flying winger to unable to beat a man or get a cross in and Bidwell is a fish out of water.
Sad thing is it wasn't a shock, just gutted I didn't stick a score on the 17/4 odds one bookie was offering on MK yesterday morning, that would have eased the pain a bit...
I’d hardly describe Ollie as irreplaceable, there’s still a fair chance he’ll take us down. Any progress in all the time he’s been here? No.
