Don’t rule our Cov yet! As the saying about Coventry goes, they could just leave him there now he’s there
made a some good tackles when it looked like fleetwood were through. the hoofball wasnt good though so agree there.
everton and pool played pretty strong line ups, nearly all first teamers. City have their firsts out....
now astro is normally pretty extreme but had to post this gem lol (as he is serious). @Skylarker sort that out
So, he wants to ‘replace’ Coutinho, who one of the world’s top clubs are so desperate to sign that they’ll pay some €150 mill, with Adam ****ing La-La-na?
Well done to Fleetwood ... pleased they got a replay and was well deserved... only Dragovic really made a case for a starting berth against Chelsea ... Amartey not too bad, in fairness ...
Two Premier League teams playing each other. Completely different. We should have been able to blow Fleetwood away with our reserves that cost about 80-90m.
Surely if all the usual suspects, Allardyce, Pulis, Pardew, etc didn’t all currently have jobs, Sparky would be out on his useless arse!?
Well then that's a different argument. You said your players needed rest, why don't other premier league clubs i mentioned do the same as you're unrealistic to get europe or get relegated. This is the last competition you have of some glory. Only conclusion i can think of is Puel doesn't think the FA cup is worthy of trying to win over fighting for a mid table position
Personally I’m pissed off he has disrespected this and the 1/4 final v Man City. Fair enough one or two youngsters to give them some experience but playing deadwood like Benny and the keeper. We should have played a side to win that but far too many of those players are negative options (style of play wise)
Indeed we should have ... we started with 5 full internationals and 3 England youth internationals and brought on 2 more full Internationals ... that should have been enough against Fleetwood with all due respect but it wasn't ... they fully deserved their replay ... that's footie.
