The MLS review goals and and possible penalties but don’t stop play
That would of been a better example and it does seem to work!

There's a picture on Amber Nectar's home page, of the teams line up before the FA Cup Final.

To think that is 4 years ago, the number of faces no longer connected to the club .... and that's just the mascots.

    Bring back concessions.

    ALLAMS OUT !!!

You're completely right. A club that has achieved profitability, wealth and success via intuitive planning and sound business principles, which invests a good chunk of those profits into bringing quality young British players through into the game. Contrast that with the likes of Man City who do everything the good old fashioned way.

That was my emotion, when the final whistle went I just stood there and felt nothing but pride how the team had fought. Virtually all the City fans stayed waiting to applaud the players, and I remember watching the stands empty at the Arsenal end even before their cup celebration, and was amazed.

Alternatively, a club that financially exploits its fans so foreign investors can see significant returns on their money, without ever using it to help or progress the club.

Contrast that to Manchester City who's generosity brings world class football to grateful fans who pay an affordable amount to watch their team.

Great article about CD who sounds a really good bloke. Don't know why it has to turn into a bash Arsenal fans session though.

Getting to an FA cup final was absolutely massive for us , one of the biggest , if not the biggest single day in the club's history.

The reality is that for Arsenal as a club and their fans it wasn't the biggest deal. Their aspirations ( at least then!) were winning the Premier league and CL finals, semi finals at least. The FA cup was poor consolation for the other failures, and they were playing a team that most people expected them to beat.

Just watch the first fifteen minutes up to Bruce’s header cleared off the line to nearly make it 3. Then switch off.

So that means they don't even stay to see their team lift the cup ?

I have to disagree, I hate Man U but credit to their fans, they celebrated the FA Cup and Europa League like they were winning the treble again, and they actually follow a successful team that has been dominant in the bigger competitions, unlike Arsenal. That was Arsenals first trophy in nearly a decade and they couldn't give a ****.

If winning a major trophy for the first time in 9 years doesn't get you excited then you might as well stop watching football.

It's not that fact they weren't ecstatic that annoyed me, I don't agree with it but I can understand it, it's the fact they didn't even stay to see the trophy lifted, getting home 10 minutes earlier was more important, pathetic the lot of them.

He cared that we/he lost, but shouldn't that be expected of a player?

Our FA Cup Final day was fantasic, except for the fact we lost. Two teams who wanted to win and neither shamed themselves.

We lost, it was my wife's fault; she ****ed off to the lav in extra time, she came back, **** had happened. She really should have pissed herself - she understands that now. I think.

The Arsenal fans around me were just fans: except for one, just behind me. He was a total **** and came close, but his mate got a grip of him.

I'm pretty sure CANADATIGER was just down to my left. We were the only City in that area - we had dignity, but no ****ing cup...

    Another day - Arsenal who?

I've still never read the programme I bought for that game, find it too painful, same for watching highlights! I'll always hate arsenal, they ruined the dream. To come so close and not see it out :emoticon-0106-cryin

For me it was knowing that we'll probably not reach another cup final in my lifetime. I'm only in my mid-50s but it's as faint a hope now as it ever was.
